No, not really.
I snapped my Tib/fib (compound fracture) and was able to get back.
Admittedly it took nearly 9 months but that is without the constant medical, physio support that Paps will get.
He can come back from this. Might only be a couple of months and he might be running again depending on how they treat him (cast v surgery).
Hope all goes well for him. Don’t need any other complications that come with the compound. Ripping the ligaments or infection from the bone breaking the skin. It sounds ****en horrendous

How the **** did you do that!

Indoor soccer.
Guy took out my leg rather than playing the ball!
Snapped both bones clean. Dangling mid ankle.
Had a titanium rod inserted through the inside of the tibia and secured by 4 screws.
2 just below the knee and 2 above the Knuckle on the ankle!

Its a bad one
As bad as Yow Yees was.
Based on the fact hes only just returned to the field after 12 month, ontop of previous injuries, plus the position he plays - this will likely be him done

Maybe, but I’m not writing him off just yet.
But yes, it could be it for him.
Sad, as I like Paps.

Come on mate. Being an actual expert is no excuse for professing to be an expert ;)
True.
But according to Sharks2010 Pap can probably strap it up and play next week on painkilling injection, since a friend of a friend's uncle twice removed once heard a tale from an irish man in a pub whose nephew did the same injury

Not as bad as Bruce Reid's injury when he snapped in half.
