This is something that exists in other sports. NHL has scheduled breaks twice per period where the players stand around scratching their balls while TV shows ads.

Yeah, maybe it's the Fox/Kayo no adds thing, but I would have thought Ch 9 would jump at the chance to schedule a few more ads.

Was probably thinking that Brisbane would tap and go. Eels were under sustained attack and needed a quick breather and a chance to organise their defence.
