Steve Rogers the best ever Shark, Period. Et and Gal legends. Gal will however surely go down as one of our toughest ever. Sure we have similar tough players but his playing record is better. Perhaps a thread for Most skilful V Toughest Sharks would be a good one?

I'll sit on the fence & say this, both Gal & ET are in the top bracket with players mentioned already from previous posts, for a start they are different types of players who are so valued for too many reasons to write.
Its just me but I'd think I am being disrespectful to Gal or ET to say one is more valued than the other, both have been wonderful players for the mighty sharks although I will say I am predicting that most on this forum will choose ET over Gal, maybe for his ability etc but for some reason on this forum people tend to not be Gal fans.

These are close to exact thoughts too.
For Gallen to have this amount of games for one club (our club) under his belt with his workload is a miracle in itself.

Think players get rated better and missed more once they have been retired for a while.
Just a smidge to young to remember rogers in all his glory, loved et and respect gal for hanging with us when we were not that attractive although I would think he got paid overs to stay. So my top 5

I used to be a big gallen fan and would always have his back when other team's supporters gave him shtick.
I have had enough of him now and he is ruining his legacy at the club. The rubbish last year with the sharkcast guys, and calling out fans again this month he is doing himself no favors with fans, and he doesn't seem to give a $#it. Total arrogance.
Dude she pulls his rough head in and get on with running the ball up and tackling.
To be honest I'd had enough of ET by the end of his career so I am going to go Peach and Dean Bosnich.

I think Gallens comments were only referring to the fact people questioning his service to the club, yet he is the second most capped player for the club ever, and the only guy to play more games wasnt in the forwards. 260 games playing the way gal has, is a huge effort. But on the other side of the coin, given his career spans over 15 years, he could have played a lot more games if he wasnt injured etc.
I think Gallen could have made comment about the social media comments, but in a better way. He could have done it by declaring his loyalty to the club, without even mentioning the bad comments.
Anyway, im not as bothered by it as obviously most of you are. I didnt see it as him rubbishing ET at all, i think it was more of a 'you cant say i havent put in for this club, im the most capped forward in its history'

IMHO Steve Rogers is way ahead of ET and Gal. Peach, Maty Rogers and Miller would be pushing up with ET and Gal.
