Friday night is all a drunken blur of shattered dreams and pure rage. I remember after full time hitting the jaegar and telling everyone who would listen how pissed off I was and how Melbourne can go to hell blah blah. I feel for the OP, no booze would have made the loss sting all that more.
However I can honestly say that Saturday was the worst part. It became more real. It had finally sunk in. Our year was over. Add to that my massive hang over from trying to bury the loss the night before and it's pretty easy to see why Saturday sucked arse
