yes article is from 2010 however they pretty much went into receivership I doubt 2 yrs later they would sponsor a team for 6 digits a year. If they are in a position to do this then sign up the CEO now...

No i doubt Carney is playing but two consecutive Pain Away plugs is strange... they are an eels sponsor? maybe its something about that. I would love them as a sponsor!

The "Game Plan" comes close but is headline sensitive and they run it like a red neck newspaper at times.

No mate, you're not hard to please, I agree with you. The Footy Show is nothing but self-indulgent drivel. It annoys me that channel 9 treats all League fans as morons.

There are quite a few really good, analytical AFL shows on every week, why can't we have one or two for League without the carry-on and crap?

The talk curently going on in the defence thread is an example of the type of topic that could be well covered in an analytical game show. It would be very informative.

Agree wholeheartedly Slide Rule. I don't watch the footy show anymore. Too much rubbish and not enough real footy talk.

Ricky up to his old lame tricks. Was surprised when I heard of it and figured surely it can't be true. Part of me actually hoped it was so Gallen would have extra motivation not to lose. Then again that probably would have had him ball playing even more...

They either don't think there is a market for it or they don't have the competency or people to produce it. The Channel 9 footy show is a waste of everyone's time
