Didnt find a thread for this.

Maybe a bit over confidnt here but I think we have fourth in the bag. Meaning a likely showdown with roosters or broncos in week 1 of the finals. I personally think that out of the top eight us brisbane and storm are most likely.

Cowboys - no because the universe and refs hate them come finals. And I think they peaked to early.
Roosters - no because they have lost peirce.
Bulldogs - No because hodgkinson is out.
Dragons - not good enough.
Souths - no because of injury
Storm - maybe but still not the team they used to be.
Sharks - maybe probably the form team with broncos.
broncos - see above.

So im hoping we play the roosters in week 1 not the broncs.

Not just against the broncs but also the roosters as well. I think the broncos are in pretty good form atm and the roosters are without pearce. If we finish 4th then I hope the roosters are minor premiers and our opposition in week 1. Does anyone know the format

Disagree, I can honestly see any team in the eight, other than St George, taking the premiership.

Very, very close comp this year.

Could handle finishing out of the top 4 if we can win the first week and then come up against the Cows in week 2.

Eagles got smashed by roosters who didnt even play that well. Beat by the eels who we beat this week and only limped over the line against the raiders. They are nowhere near the team we played into form earlier. We should win. As for the dogs. Without hodgkinson I dont know. Hes the nsw half and a big loss. The storm are the team thats hitting some form.

Our record this year has been good against all top 8 sides except for the Storm.
If we can managing avoiding the Storm, we can go with any of the other teams.

I believe we will either play Dragons at home or Roosters away week 1 of finals. But it's all up to us and how we play against Manly

Doggies are a shoe in for 4th if we lose. But I can't see Storm or Bunnies winning. Roosters will beat Bunnies even with ought Pearce.
