It's starting to look like we might have dudded ourselves... You'd have to think we'd have filled Commbank Stadium with 95% Sharks supporters. Does that give you a bigger 'home ground' advantage than playing for 12,000 damp, drinkless supporters at Shark Park?
Though we've lost just one game at home this season I believe
No chance we get 30k.

The correct decision was made.

Looks like it’s starting to get Limited Availability for General Admission too. Though they might just then release more tickets again 🤷‍♂️

There’s actually some decent Limited View seats in the ET upper and lower. The first row of each stand. GA prices. Both probably get rained on too (I know lower does), though current forecast is dry

Thanks mate, I really appreciate it but it's no help if I've already bought tickets. Nothing against you at all but I just feel so let down by all of this.

Couldn't disagree more mate.

Absolutely the right decision. No way we would have filled Commbank, plus it would allow more Cowboys fans in potentially.

Yeah we could have done with more seating but I'll take first world problems of getting tickets if it improves the Sharks chances of winning, which it obviously does. Like you said, lost one game all year there. The players know it and want to play there. And more importantly Cowboys dont want to play there. They'd prefer a neutral venue.

I still think you'd get closer to filling it with Sharks than not. But it's all hypotheticals musings anyway. Let's just hope people turn up and we don't get the half empty stands you see at our 'sold out games' (though I'll understand if you're not there, Chad!)

Yeah I still remember that 2017 Final against the Cowboys at SFS where we had a rubbish crowd (16,000), and got absolutely robbed by the referee with no crowd atmosphere at all to deter him

Well we shouldn't because those seats will be available to anyone from tomorrow. Members tickets were never available to others this year. Huge miss from the club not offering the buy back, couldn't have been that hard to organise and the money from food and beverage sales would have made it worth it. I know I would have taken advantage of games I couldn't make

We'll only get empty seats if someone buys a ticket and ends up not going.

Bit of a painful process getting tickets, between the very random waiting period, and not being able to select the bays you want. Finally got close to what I wanted though.
I thought the ticket buying process was fine - as long as you only wanted a single ticket, didn't mind whether you stood or were seated & didn't care about the cost.

Now just need a big win on Saturday night to forget about the long queues for exorbitant priced food & drink so I get to sing Up Up Cronulla & then get back home to watch numerous replays so I can see what I missed from being at the ground .

And I still almost hit the Buy button

If I'm ever questioning why I watch footy on TV instead of getting to the big games I'll reread this thread.

Haven't dealt with ticketek/nrl since 2016 and it's still a ****ing nightmare by the sound of it.

Can anyone confirm if the concourse is still alcohol free for the finals games? I don’t think I could get through this game sober….

Looks like there are more General Admission tickets released overnight, after being Allocation Exhausted yesterday. Still no idea why the NRL drip feed these tickets. I chatted to a number of people last night basically saying they thought it was sold out and no point trying.

Im guessing it would have been the SFS not Commbank... SFSs capacity is 45k. Would we get 20k there?

The right thing by the team is to play at Shark Park. Maybe not the best thing via members/supporters, but I think most would take the hit to be a better chance of winning.

The next will be a big stadium game next up, where we can fill it to our hearts content.

Yeah I can't work out why they drip feed it either. I guess so people who can't access it first thing still have a chance later but the people who try earlier and miss out will either just try later anyway. And like you said what might happen is people assume it's sold out.

If it was an issue with the site being overloaded they should have staggered the releases. There's not reason all 4 games need to be available at 10AM, they're essentially completely different events with different audiences.

They should open one game at 10, the other at 11, 12, then 1. That way the site doesn't get smashed.

I get the feeling if we are eligible for a home final next year it's not assumed we'll get it again imo but that's a next year problem.

Thanks Cap, but we've decided to keep it as it is. The others I bought tickets for don't mind the seats as they are bogans and are used to sitting in crap seats. So I am going to be a bogan for a night and sit with them. They say they are closer to the action, can hurl abuse at the Cowboys players and threaten security guards that they'll jump the fence.
