Car trip with Gards -

- Walk from ground to car
-Wait at car while Gards decides whether its been long enough since his last beer as to if he can drive or not
- Digs through car for breathaliser
- Batteries dead
- Walk back to servo at other side of ground to buy batteries (and i get an ice cream)
- Walk back to car
- Put batteries in, still doesnt work
- Fend off guy with motorbike who wants us to put it in the boot and drop him to Bangor
- get in car and drive home anyway

it's not about the destination, it's the journey. ;) Think I had a sausage role and chips, or maybe that was some other time but you left out running into snowy at half way who wanted to burn the ground down ha ha
i dont recall u getting bubblo bill but respect just went up. though you could crack a cider block open with how hard the gum is these days

Couldn't have said this better myself. Add in ticket prices and you'd have sell out crowds every game.
I'm mostly reading a book or chatting to Ev and Littleshark when the game's not on, we couldn't give a **** about any half time or prematch entertainment.

What book are you reading at the footy?

Yeah i don't get that people whinge about parking -
Plenty of parking around the side streets, Franklin, Wills, Sturt, Rd etc... when leaving head straight up the kingsways
and miss the traffic along captain cook drive.

yeah have had to park around the corner from your place the first 2 home games. Good thing I had some roadies :)

Complaining about having to walk from a train station to games? Gee I'd love that! I have to catch a plane to get anywhere near the stadium for a home game.

I know of an elderly bloke who passed away early this year that attended every home game for the best part of 40 years. He wasnt in good health at all last year, honestly was already on his way out, yet still made it to every home game for the 2016 season with a smile on his face.

Seriously walking and standing fellas? Whats next? Breathing? FMD.

Obviously I must be the **** fan then cause I'm over making the effort

I'm not personally attacking anyone mate and especially you. I know you make more effort than most NRL fans do let alone Sharks fans. You barely miss a home game so trust I'm not having a go.

Are you going tonight?

Just a bit of information for everyone

Members jersey - not happening this year

Polo shirts in some people membership packages - there will be an email out shortly about it.

A lot of the points mention here have been raised with club and they will provide something back soon, when I receive it I'll post it in here

Not going tonight. Titans game was the first home game I can remember missing in 5 years.

Just dont go then? No one will think any less of you.

Still think walking and standing is a pretty crap excuse though.

Throw in an hours drive each way having to get there hours in advance just to get a semi decent spot to park. It turns into a 6 hour effort just for a game of football. The scheduling as well hasn't helped.

If anyone is over making the effort to get to NRL games they're not on their own. Its a game-wide thing. Unless its an "event" game like rivarly, SoO, prelim or GF you can get better bang for your buck infront of the telly.
