No trades no game in my mind. If anyone is stupid enough to go in with two accounts they should just be banned from playing again.

It happened last time we did this on here, although I won't mention names. Like I mentioned, when people get jack of playing, they make stupid trades and in the process ruin it for everyone else.

If you can't handle no trades then make a different League. People like Mr. Wright know exactly what I'm talking about.

I like Coco's idea. It takes real NBA knowledge to draft a great team out of the blocks. People that don't know so much about the NBA may struggle though because trades are usually a way for them to try and gauge value of their players.

I'll join this for sure. I'm usually in a couple leagues anyway all with different rules.

I absolutely hate the no trades idea. It was why I liked last seasons leagues so much even though I got raped.

This is EXACTLY why trades don't work in a league like this. If you're in a league of eight, here's the breakdown of winners and losers in the event of a rape trade.

Winner: The person pulling off the rape.
Losers: The people not involved in the trade that watch someone else create a super team.
Biggest Loser: The person getting mugged.

You can't have a league that simply prays on the weak and fickle. It takes true skill and knowledge to draft a team from the start and run with it. That's not to say you can't pick up free agents and other good players that people drop. There's plenty of good FA's after the draft that end up being better than a lot of picks from Round 5 onwards...

I've set up the league. Live draft time is set for SATURDAY 12TH NOVEMBER 8AM. If you can't make it pre-set your team. As it appears the season is going to start sooner than later, Yahoo is encouraging everyone to get their drafts going now, hence the nominated time.

League limit is set to 8 players. To avoid dodgy goings-ons, there are ZERO trades this year; only the ability to pick up off the waiver wire.

The League is split into two conferences; The Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Just for fun, how about we each pick the conference that our favorite team is in. For example, I would be in the Eastern Conference because of the Orlando Magic.
