It looks like we're going to have to set the draft time for this Saturday. If you can't make it you'll just have to pre-rank your players and hope like hell they're still on the board when your automated picks kick in.

The LU one took about an hour and a half if that maybe (with I think 14 teams)?

It depends on if everyone is on. If all players are on then it goes really quick otherwise you have to wait 2 minutes for a pick from the computer (just takes the highest ranked player left which normally ends up in some pretty **** teams!)

Can be as quick as half an hour depending on who actually turns up. Otherwise more likely an hour. It's only an 8-team league though, so I don't imagine it would take that long.

New automated system. If a person isn't online Yahoo will automatically select from their pre-draft rankings in only ten seconds. Brilliant innovation!

Off the top of my head, I think you need to go to Draft Settings and the option will be in there.

If you're going to be online though, you won't need to bother. Always good just incase though.

so alls we gotta do is click the link and log in before 10am, and we will be directed to the draft (again sorry for the abundance of questions, but i havent played in a game like this before)

Yup. Yahoo will randomly select a draft order at around 9:30AM on the morning of. Nobody will know what draft pick they have until then. Yahoo will let you log on to the draft from around about 9:30 onwards.

Everyone has to make sure they turn up at least ten minutes early as recommended. Last year a guy who ended up getting the first picked logged on thirty seconds AFTER the time the draft was set to begin and ended up getting Chris Paul (who Yahoo had ranked as the top overall pick) instead of Lebron James. Ouch!

i tried to do the mock draft and my mac doesnt support the draft system, anyone know why that is
