I'm warming to the idea of Bukuya in the centres.

A few weeks ago I would've said he would miss out when we got a few troops back, but I think his form has been pretty good the last 2 weeks.

It would be a tough call to leave him out now.

It's time to find a permanent spot for him - and that could just be Pomeroy's spot.

Just like Chris McKenna and Phil Bailey in the past, its time to manufacture us a centre.

Bukuya scares me defensively as a centre - don't think he's agile enough laterally.

That said, we are talking about replacing pom so **** yeah why not? lol

Bukuya would make a decent centre but he'd have to train for it and imo lose some kegs. I agree his defence wouldn't be up to scratch. Who knows though if he'd be able to make 10 really good tackles a game. That's all centres seem to do these days.

I would be happy to push Bukuya into Pom's spot can't be any worse defensively than Pom and would be better in attack.

You can't bury a guy in NSW cup because he is signed elsewhere for next season. The best 17 players should play. Bukuya > Peachey.

Peachey will get another shot this year. Chances are at least one of Bukuya, Gallen, Tupou or Lewis gets an injury this year.

Bukuya got the coaches award for Sunday's game. He won't go anywhere.

Depends on the circumstances. If we are out of finals contention later in the year it would be silly to play guys that are going at year's end when we could be getting games into young guys for next year. But that's obviously not the case at the moment so I agree with you on playing the best 17.

Peachy will play this week for me I don't see Gallen & Lewis playing this week or Carney as the origin team in announced on Sunday or am I wrong about when camp is I read an article where it said if Carney makes the team Sunday he won't play Monday night?
Room for Peachy aka the X factor.

That's not correct, they will all play Monday if fit. Whether they are in the team or not.

... and on Bukuya ... a lot of posts here have gone on about how his play wasn't as strong in the back end of last season. Now let's just think about this:

First half of the season: Bukuya plays outside Carney.
Most of the second half of the season: Bukuya plays outside Robson, Townsend or Graham.

It's a lot easier to run into gaps when you are playing outside a guy who knows how to put you through one. Personally I don't think Bukuya's play was any different all year - he just did more noticeable things in attack when Carney played ... the same could be said for nearly the whole team.
