It’s actually ridiculous at this point.

Chelsea are a club I would love to see get screwed over by FFP never to be seen in PL again

chelsea know what they are doing
In what respect? With FFP?

Not sure their transfer strategy has been the best till this point. Last season they wasted a lot of money. Their transfers this year have been a lot better but it’s still a struggle to see where their goals will come from with Nkunku out

Well over 1 B, i think they were close to that mark when Nkunku came in. They cant afford to get transfers wrong with these 8 year contracts, they will never be able to get rid of them if it doesn't work out

Considering when Bhoely took over, the PL didn't make the club repay about a billion in loans from Abramovichs ownership. So they definitely have a headstart over FFP.

Bit bummed we missed Caicedo, but if we have that much to spend, i would rather it go on 2, maybe even 3 players, Florentino Luis?, Maybe back in for Thuram, Gravenbach, Kone .

Brighton ceo knows what’s up

Brighton CEO Paul Barber on Moises Caicedo choosing Chelsea: “Liverpool’s a fantastic football club. For any footballer to have the chance to play at Liverpool, you’d imagine that they’d be running up the M6 but it wasn’t to be."

Marc Cucurella: Chelsea to Man United on loan could happen.

Luke Shaw is out until November, Tyrell Malacia is out indefinitely, Brandon Williams already gone to Ipswich and Alvaro Fernandez is about to go to Granada CF in Spain on loan.
Cucurella is being looked at as cover for the left back spot.

Good signing I reckon. He was class at Brighton, I know he’s been crap at Chelsea but a fresh start could do him good

Yeah im not going to complain too much, getting him in would probably be making the best you can out of a really shitty situation.

Luke Shaw’s actually likely out to ****ing December now. Malacia’s been injured all off season and there’s no updates on him so **** knows. Fernandez and Williams going on loan. The other options we have is Dalot, who isnt actually a left back, he’s a right back and moving Martinez across to there which I wouldnt do anyway, especially now that Varane is likely out for 6 weeks.

Looks like its our turn to have an early season injury crisis.
