I’d rather Kounde, but looks like we’ll get Torres which I don’t think is the right fit for a CB partner for Maguire. He needed someone who’s quick and good on the ball. Torres is a bit too similar to Maguire for mine. Kounde would of been a better fit.
If you can keep Konate fit he’s a good partner for VVD.

My thoughts on this: I’d be ok with signing despite the ridiculous price but not if it comes at the expense of bringing in a decent CDM and CB. It’s right in the Glazers playbook to prioritise shirt sales over building a team that can compete with City and Chelsea. If they end up cheaping out on the CDM and CB for this then they’ve learned absolutely nothing.
Regarding the Euros:
Is anyone here supporting a team other then England or Scotland? Thinking of starting a Euros thread and I was going to pop up squads and fixtures for the teams that we will be keeping an eye on.
