they play good football

Yeah fair enough. Can't argue with you there.
But they may start playing a bit more safely now they're in the EPL.
Teams coming up tend to do that - Leeds were the exception though, they played bright football.

Disagree - usually teams stick to their guns, even if it is to their own detriment at times. Swansea (of old), Bournemouth, Norwich, Fulham all played pretty good football.

Not going to stay up playing defensive and ugly football these days anyway, unless your Burnley

remember when it was wengers fault? and then emerys fault? and then got guardiolas limo driver as their manager?

Going to be a very long season for Arsenal. They are so far behind the top teams it’s not funny. Their best player is a 19 year old.

Meanwhile Emery just took Villareal to their first ever Europa League title. That club is cancer from the top.

I had them for an 8th place finish before the season started, might have to revisit that already.

What I would of given to be at Old Trafford today. First league game back in front of fans. Smash the Leeds scum 5-1. A Bruno Fernandes hat trick, none of them penalties (apparently he only scores penalties according to some people). 4 assists for Pogba and a Sancho debut. What a ****ing start to the season.

I’m still not a fan of Fred/McTominay in the pivot though, against more defensive teams it wont work, but they both played well with the extra space the more attacking Leeds provide.

I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Was a fun game to watch. Bruno was outstanding, Pogba was good too with 4 assists. I also thought Shaw and McTominay had good games. Tell you what though, Greenwood is going to be a superstar…

Leeds were very open though, played right into Utd hands

Yep they didn’t learn from the 6-2 result last year.

Liverpool are lucky to have left back cover, its the one area I was afraid it would Kostas

Ill leave now

Hahaha. Brilliant!

He had a few rusty moments but overall he was quite impressive wasn’t he!

Salah breaks the record. 5 seasons in a row he has scored on the opening day now. Can’t wait to see Anfield packed out now and hopefully inflict some revenge on Burnley

• United thump Leeds.
• Fernandes hat trick.
• Greenwood killing it in the 9 role.
• Pogba already has more assists then he did last season.
• Varane unveiling.
• Man City lose.
• Brentford fans singing “Your just a **** Tottenham Hotspur” at Arsenal and then proceed to give them an uppercut on the field.

Its been a fantastic opening weekend.
