if city win their remaining games, they will have won 18 and drawn 1 in the final 19

our hopes rely on a really bad united side or brendan rodgers with leicester

City play Leicester at home and Brighton away. Title is as good as theirs now, I can’t see them dropping points in those clashes. Burnley was Liverpool’s last hope! Incredible really.

When's the last time it went down to the last round? Can't imagine it would happen very often.

Think it happened in 13/14 involving Liverpool and City too. But the most dramatic was 11/12 when City won it with the last kick.

Jesus Christ, imagine this. You boys would have to fly over for this one.

The incredible one-off match could be the result of one of the most thrilling finales to a season in top-flight history.

But the stars have to align in order to make it happen.

Pep Guardiola’s side are currently top of the pile, with 92 points from their 36 games while Liverpool have 91.

Reigning champions City’s goal difference is +68 while the Reds is four less at +64.

That gives City a definitive advantage going into the final two games against Leicester and Brighton.

Liverpool face Newcastle away and then Wolves at home in their last two matches of the Prem campaign.

If their goal difference is the same at the end of play on Sunday May 12, then they look at goals scored, where City have a six-goal advantage.

If points, goal difference and goals scored are all level then the two teams are taken to a one-off play off at a neutral venue.

Any of the likely scenarios would need Manchester City to lose at least one of their games and draw the other, or lose both.

Bizarrely Liverpool can lose and draw their final games and see City lose without scoring and conceding five in their final two matches.

Even at this point, this season will go down as one of the finest in Prem history.

Let’s hope the final chapter gives us a final for the ages.

Well, it’s definitely going to the final day. Liverpool have sown fantastic character this season. Origi and Shaqiri saved the bacon this time.

An epic Fabiniho dive helped as well. 9.5 from the judges scorecards for that one LOL.

Suppose I can’t talk as long as Ashley Young plays for United hahahahaha.

Well seeing as Messi punched Fabinho and won a FK which only he could score off, I say it’s even itself out haha.

Haha Ashley Young. We’ve all got divers

It was an incredible strike. He probably couldn’t do that again in a million games.
Too right, was a beauty. Praying for a City meltdown on the last day, but can’t see it happening. Liverpool’s game against Wolves is a tough one too..

Chelsea have lost their appeal and will be banned from making any signings for the next two transfer windows.

So boys. A lot of your hope this weekend is lying in the gloves hands of Matty Ryan, not a bad keeper to be standing in City’s way. How you feeling?

Not confident at all mate. City haven’t dropped any points in their last 13 games, they won’t stuff it up now.

Scoring that many points and not winning the league is peak Liverpool. My god.

I wouldn’t be too disheartened though, Klopp and the guys around him have ensured your in a position to challenge for years to come.
