Transfermarkt has them at Pog 10 goals 16 assists and Milner 7 goals 14 assists. We both know there's more to it than raw stats either way. If anything it shows how criminally underrated Milner is.

100m doesn't really concern me too much. The amount of money UTD will get back in jersey sales from Pog and Zlatan will be ridiculous. Plus with Adidas being UTD's kit sponsor, we just signed two of their top 10 athletes worldwide. That's gotta keep them happy and drive UTD's bargaining power up in future negotiations.

Compare the expenditure from other PL teams in this window to UTD's and I think we've done quite well

UTD: Zlatan, Pogba, Mkhitaryan and Bailly for £149M
City: Gundogan, Nolito, Stones, Sane and Gabriel for £147M

I'd rather UTD's haul than City's for basically the same money value as we've picked up the 3 best players out of those guys. Not sure why they paid so much to bring Gabriel in when they have Aguero and Kelechi already on the team.

In saying that though Liverpool have done ****ing well compared to teams that have spent similar money in the PL

Chelsea: Batshuyai and Kante for £62M
Liverpool: Karius, Matip, Mane, Wijnaldum for £68M

Much better value than Chelsea imo. What's liverpools starting XI going to look like?

not sure how i missed this gem of a post, but your first bolded comment is wrong as milner hit double figures for goals last year, i apologies, milner had 10 goals 14 assists and pogba had 10 goals 15 assists

the second bolded part is an awful statement on the bases you included bailley, he is ****ing dog ****, and you paid 32million for absolute ****ing dog ****

and i dont care what you get in jersey sales, sounds like a wanderers fan going on about crowd noise

city came out of the window a much better team

i dont know why you play zlatan and pogba over hendrick either

As i said transfermarkt has Milner at 7 and 14. I'm just quoting their stats, not my own.

Bailly is incosistent and rash but far from dog ****.

City did come out of the window a better team but that doesn't really have anything to do with the players that brought in that i listed bar Gundogan. Sane, Stones and Nolito have been average at best. I made a statement of who made a better haul, not who would come out of the window as a better team.

Not sure who hendrick is, but you'd have to ask Mourinho why Henrikh isn't playing.

Oh look, loses an arguement so has to chase name spelling to save face.

If Sane Stones and Nolito have been average, then Pogba Zlatan and Bailey have been abortions.

And Bailey is dog ****. No politer way to describe it.

I lost an argument?

I just posted facts of what a respected website has and gave my opinion on who were the better players.

Didn't know there was an argument to lose haha

His feathers are being ruffled today mate in the main forum. Must have got a knock back last night. :p

Tomorrow night unfortunately West Brom will lose again and be winless for two months. Bloody frustrating.
I like Tony Pulis, I really do but he's not the man to turn us into a top ten side.

Yes JimBob, Matty had a whale of a game.

4-0 over Burnley suddenly makes us a top ten team. Happy days.
