Chelsea took 18 out of 18 possible points against United, Arsenal and Liverpool both at home and on the road. There was nothing fixed about last night's game. They were essentially playing to keep Torres (who has stated time and again that he isn't interested in playing for a team that isn't in the Champions League). As it stands, they're fighting just to get a spot in the EL. As sharkafar said, 'Pool just stunk this year. No bits and bobs about it.

If you think that was the worst performance you have ever seen I have to question how much EPL you actually watch. Wigan's 9-1 loss to Spurs and Stokes 7-0 loss to the Blues were farcical. Liverpool's performance last night wasn't anywhere near their worst performance of the season.

Yeah, Gerrard's back pass was stupid, but so is every second pass Gary Neville serves up these days as well. For your sake peach, I hope we draw and you win next week. It's clear we handle defeat a lot better than you do

No-one I hate more in the EPL than Chelsea and Liverpool. Them coming together and screwing United over is crap.. just plain crap. But we should of at least came out of that last game against Chelsea with a 2-2 draw if Rooney could of capitalized on that rather easy chance he had. He was putting them away all year, but failed when we really needed it. It's a real shame.

Pffffffffffft, Macheda's goal was just as sketchy. Maradonna would've been proud of his effort. The real score should've been 1-0, Chelsea.

As for the free kick in the first game - actually, they should've had that kick. Fletcher freely admitted he brought Cole down. What United were actually complaining about was the positioning of Drogba at the free kick - not the validity of the foul that let to it. There's a diff.
