Fernandes, Zirkzee, Dorgu and Heaven all outstanding in Man United’s win this morning. Holjund showed some great signs as well, picking up an assist for Dalot’s goal.

Probably helps he’s approximately 164 foot tall. 😂

But taking a 1-0 lead back to Anfield and blowing it? Yeah dont care who they’re playing, Liverpool **** the bed.
Yeah that definitely helps! He has won 6 out of 7 penalty shootouts and has the highest penalty save percentage (25%).

Well anyone who watched the first game at PSG will tell you that we were incredibly lucky to win that game. PSG should have won about 4 or 5 nil.

Liverpool just don’t have the depth to compete on multiple fronts, the lack of reinforcement in the summer was always going to come back to bite us at some point. We are just fortunate we haven’t had too many major injuries to key players.

Now we can focus on finishing off what we have started in the league and hopefully winning the cup final on Sunday. Whilst I don’t fully agree with you that we bottled PSG, if we bottle the league (then that would be the biggest bottle job of all time).

Bad’s not the word i’d use. 😏😉
Look, if you told me we would be in the position we are now at the start of the year I would’ve been very happy. So as long as we see out the title, I’ll take that.

We need to bolster big time in the summer though

Seriously? Your squads not missing much. Depends who leaves I guess.

I beg to differ. We have been carried a lot by Salah this season. And it’s why we aren’t able to compete on multiple fronts and tend to run out of steam.

Defence:

Keeper - no issues there
Right back - TAA is off to Madrid, Connor Bradley is injury prone. Need a quality RB signing
Centre back - VVD off contract, no idea what’s happening there, let’s assume he stays though. Konate is quite injury prone but otherwise a great starter with VVD. Gomez is going to be sold, can’t stay fit. Quansah not good enough yet, has been a liability when called on. Need at least 1, possibly 2 centre backs.
Left back- Robertson has really struggled this season. Tsimikas ok. One of them can stay as back up but we need a starter.

Midfield:

Centre mids/attacking mids - all good there with Szobo, Macca, Jones, Gravenberch
Defensive mid - Gravenberch has been a revelation but we need another option. Endo has performed admirably but is not the answer.

Attack:

RW - Salah could be off and Slot doesn’t appear to trust Chiesa. If Salah goes, we need a new RW signing.
LW - Gakpo and Diaz are fine
ST - Jota and Nunez can both go, they are not good enough. We desperately need a striker.

So that leaves the following positions to be strengthened, anywhere from 4- 6 new signings required depending on who goes

RB to replace TAA
LB starter (we are heavily linked to Kerkez)
CB back up (if VVD stays)
CB starter (if VVD goes)
DM (hopefully we go back in for Zubimendi)
RW (if Salah goes)
ST (we have been playing without one all season. Isak would be the dream but probably impossible for us)

Thoughts on the ticket price hike at Utd, @CrazyMatt

**** sorry Flanno mate, I forgot about this.

I’m not really sure what else I can say about this. INEOS trying to milk more money from the wrong source. I’m starting to struggle to see the difference between INEOS and The Glazers a little bit, they’re starting to slowly morph into the same ****ing entity.

I'm seriously looking forward to the next few weeks, my club Arsenal have finally brought in a new DOF, not to mention a very good & experienced guy aswell in Andrea Berta. The window imo is going to be crazy for us, rumours all over the place. Hopefully unlike Arteta he can manage to make quick ones too. Arteta always tended to wait till the final week or so to get the transfers in, probably had no choice though.

Nico Williams (LW)
Victor Gyokeres/Victor Osimhen (striker)
Zubimendu (CM)
Xavi Simmons (CAM)
Nypann (cover striker)
Cover defender too, not sure who.

They are my hopes.

Let’s be real mate you will sign 10 defenders

Nah honestly, I think arsenal are primed to win the league next season if you have a bit more luck on the injury front, particularly if City are docked points as I fully expect them to be.
