Leicester and Ipswich promoted to the Premier League.

Play offs are Leeds v Norwich and Southampton v West Brom.

Leeds and Southampton obvious favourites.

Socceroos centre back Cam Burgess and former Socceroos midfielder and 2015 Asian Cup hero Mass Luongo are key players in Ipswich’s shock promotion.

You'd be pretty happy with last night's result mate.
This morning you mean? That game started at 5am.

Pretty ****ing dire that game. Injuries have just killed them, every registered centre back is injured, Jonny Evans played on one leg and Casemiro filled in but he’s definitely not a centre back. The players that are still there though have downed tools.

Relegated teams are basically decided with Luton needing to win, Nottingham Forest needing to lose and Luton overturning a 12 goal for and against deficit to avoid the drop. All three of the promoted teams last season yo-yo straight back down.

Both first legs of the Championship playoffs finished as follows:

Norwich 0 Leeds 0
West Brom 0 Southampton 0

Can’t believe both games were scoreless.

Pressure on Leeds and Southampton now to win at home. If 0-0 still at full time, there will be extra time and then penalties if still deadlocked.

hell no , i don't want to help them lot win.
this is one game i'll be happy my team loses , i'd be happy to roll over
It's a rivalry for a reason

With all due respect, wanting your team to lose just to stick it up your rivals title challenge is an inferior club mentality.

Any fan should want their team to win all the time regardless, who cares what your rival is doing?

And yes I am aware of the hatred between Arsenal and Spurs, im a Man United fan, I feel the same way about Liverpool and to a slightly lesser extent, City, but would I ever want my team to throw a game to stop Liverpool winning a title, **** no, I dont care what Liverpool is doing until we play them, I only care what my own team is doing and I’d want my team to win every chance we get.

Worrying about yourself and yourself only is a winners mentality I feel and I reckon every successful club would have the same line of thinking.
