Ange has won Manager of the Year at the London football awards

Injuries screwed up the season but if they can hang onto 5th place that's still a very good effort for first season in charge. 5th place is enough to play Champions League is it? they changed the rule or something?

Depends on how the English teams go this year.

Wow big win for spurs, 4-0 away to Villa
Very important one for their top 4 hopes. Villa definitely starting to stumble so there’s a chance to snatch that fourth spot for them. Man United a couple of points behind still stumbling to wins will be worth keeping an eye on from Spurs’s perspective, especially if United’s injury curse starts to lift.

If anyone doesn’t mind looking at a Championship game, have a look at these highlights of West Brom’s 4-1 win over Huddersfield this morning.

The goals are good enough but have a look at the goal that put the Baggies up 3-1 by their midfielder Okay Yokuslu.

It is a wonder goal for sure.

LETS ****ING GO! What an absolute classic! Won in Fergie time of extra time by a youngster with a counter attacking gem of a goal. Incredible!

Amad Diallo scores the winner, gets a second yellow card for taking his jersey off during the goal celebration, hands his jersey to a young fan and marches up the tunnel beaming from ear to ear to a monster ovation.

Iconic.

A bad loss to Spurs and predictably all the English based knives in the media are out for Ange. They like to call him ignorant and naive which is bit rich for a bloke in his first EPL season with his team in the Top 6 and a coaching history of nothing but success.

Sometimes teams just don't turn up, players don't put in, they are off. Haven't watched it but sounds like that's what happened against Fulham.
Some of their depth has been a big step down in quality too.

I think next season is where we see the magic happen, like at Celtic but the top players have gotta stay on the park.
So much obsession with making champions league, could be a blessing missing out. They aren't going to win it just yet anyway.

Experience would be good but players could use a rest and re-focus back on the EPL.

They will likely still qualify. I think it will be England that gets the 5th spot

Now Forest have been docked 4 points for FFP breaches. Still have Man City sitting there with 113 charges over their heads. I wonder who else will be hit. Possibly Chelsea?

Someone tried to explain on radio this morning that the Man City charges are being held up because they are under UEFA rules where Forest and Everton's breaches were under Premier League rules and could be done quicker.

Is there any truth to this?

Whether there is or not, it is easy to draw a conclusion that there is some favouritism going on.

Could be, it would make sense. Could also be that its simply taking longer to sort through 113 seperate charges then it would for the significantly less charges Everton and Forest were hit with.

That’s a big blow…

I hope we go for Xabi Alonso
Apparently both Liverpool and Bayern have taken him off their shortlists as it “doesn’t appear he’ll be on the market”. Looks set to stay at Levekusen as they’re on the brink of a break through Bundasliga title.

Amorin from Sporting and De Zerbi from Brighton the new favourites.
