It's alright, they flogged a weaker club like Everton.
Haha yeah, and they are being threatened with a further points deduction too. Along with Nottingham Forest.

The longer the City case goes on the more I feel like nothing will happen, as their winning it every year that’s taking away a lot of the credibility of the league

How’s this for rotten luck with injuries.

West Brom’s US striker Darryl Dike ruptured his Achilles tendon in April 2023 and was out for 9 months and made his return around 3 weeks ago on the bench.

Last Saturday night, in a normal tackle against Ipswich Town ruptured the Achilles tendon on his other foot and is now out until the end of 2024.

Horrible news!

Jesus that is unlucky mate.

On the bright side though at least he won't be out of pocket financially given he plays in the amateur leagues :)

Always knew the EPL was corrupt and if City get away with it its proof once and for all.

Look I panned the signing of Jonny Evans and I still will because it was incompentent to **** up a tap in signing like Kim Min Jae and sign a mid thirties CB who got relegated last season, but you know what? Fairs fair, he has given a very good account of himself for the most part when needed this season, he was tremendous against Luton when he came on.

Holjund now scored 6 games in a row, the youngest player in EPL history to do so. It was always clear he had talent, the people bagging him early on for not scoring (in EPL) obviously weren’t watching and the typical modern day supporter, lacking patience.

In other news I triple captained Haaland in FPL this week - where he has a once in a lifetime stinker. Luckily he still has Brentford to salvage something…

Still gotta be happy if he goes **** though for Liverpool’s chances

Sooo Man United have a bit of a problem at left back.

  • Luke Shaw just got ruled out for the season.
  • Tyrell Malacia, well **** knows, he hasn’t played all year and is apparently still in rehab for a mystery injury.
  • The old regime have inexplicably sent on loan LB Sergio Regulion back to Spurs.
  • They can’t recall Alvaro Fernandez because he is on loan to his second club for the season and you can’t play competitive games for three different clubs in a season.
  • Lisandro Martinez could play there, but he’s injured until late March/early April.

The only left back they have on the books is 16 year old Harry Amass. Who is now officially training with the senior team and is a big chance of being thrown into the deep end there. I think he’s going to use Amrabat there which definitely isnt ideal but at least he can invert, get forward and tackle. If thats what he does against Fulham then fine, but I’d give Amass 15-20 off the bench to help him out a bit.

Injuries have absolutely smashed United’s season.

Rough. If you could pick a position for it to happen in though, LB would be the one.

This is Liverpool’s current injury list

Allison

TAA - Konate - Matip - Tsimikas

Jones - Szloboslai - Thiago

Jota - Darwin - Salah

You can have our left back Connor Townsend. He’s more Man U’s speed. 😆

Looks like Burnley just sacked Vincent Kompany
I know they are having a rough season but sometimes I wish clubs would show a bit more patience, he did get them promoted. Their squad is crap, I don’t think anyone else would have them doing much better

Injuries screwed up the season but if they can hang onto 5th place that's still a very good effort for first season in charge. 5th place is enough to play Champions League is it? they changed the rule or something?
