Happy for Ange's Spurs to have gotten the win but fmd Man United were bad - missed so many good chances

Corner post was man of the match

Spurs can do good things once they get their defense together, it's very loose at the moment but understandable 2 games in playing a new style and with new players.

Spurs fans are already liking the positive, attacking Ange Ball style. The opposite of the hold and counter attack method of previous managers.

I saw a stat that passes in oppositions half have skyrocketed under Ange compared to previous coaches. More aggressive press as well.

I know it’s early days but Ange has Spurs looking a completely different outfit already.

Their front 3 has been the only part which hasn’t yet clicked, the midfield of Bissouma, Sarr & Maddison looks class. Van de Ven and Destiny Udogie at the back too looking promising

Those Spurs fans have changed their tune about him in record time, like we knew they would.

Spurs second on the table and undefeated. Fans chanting the managers name at full time, a couple games in and they already worship him for playing positive football and cutting the bs. 2 games now they have kept a clean sheet. Ange really knows how to bring all the elements together and have everyone on the same page.

Richarlison might be the weak link but he will be given time to improve, it's early days under the new system.

Keeper Guglielmo Vicario could prove to be quite the find - a typically astute Ange signing bringing in a player from lesser known clubs/leagues

@CrazyMatt be glad Utd didn’t sign Gakpo. He’s crap, every time I watch him he is totally anonymous

There should be fines and docking of comp points for intentional time wasting (like in Test cricket for over rates)
Sheffield UTD and the ref were a disgrace, then Sheffield coach and fans complain about the extra injury time added on in second half lol.

Anyways Spurs still got it done and....

  • It was the latest comeback win in EPL history
  • Spurs best start to a season in 58 years
  • Ange won EPL coach of the month
  • Maddison won player of the month
  • Ange is nominated for FIFA coach of the year
  • Ange has been at 3 clubs in last 3 years (Yokohama, Celtic & Spurs) and not lost a home game for any of them since 2020

Big test with Arsenal and Liverpool games coming up but hard to ask for a better start than they have had under Ange, he is killing it on and off the park. Prob should have won their first game of the season as well instead of a draw had a penalty been awarded to them.

Ange has notched up another little stat. Something like 1 of 4 coaches in EPL history to have gone 6 games at start of season scoring minimum of 2 goals in every game.

Spurs vs Liverpool this week going to be a cracker

On a side note, how bad are Gunners fans. Deadset the Canberra Raiders of the EPL. Equal parts entitled and delusional.
Been building and buying for years under Arteta and could only manage at draw at home against Ange's 2 month old rebuild squad

1 of Aresnals goals came from a Spurs own goal and the other from a VAR penalty
They think they can beat City to the title lol

Some big casualties last night. United lose, City lose, Liverpool lose (Go Ange!) and Brighton get crushed.
