The 10mill from the Fed gov is going towards this build. Need more than that to replace the ET stand.

The ET stand has just had the roof redone over the off season, we can't afford to replace it.

To spend huge dollars to upgrade the stadium
Which is used 12-13 times a yr by the games and then you have training by team. It would be ineffective and costly for club. We need another tenant and or move events at the stadium to get revenue to actually support the massive upgrade everyone on here wants

Exactly which is why the club are focusing on fancy new corporate facilities otherwise we wont get any backers when they could go to teams playing out of the new stadiums with all their nice new facilities. They are worth a lot more to the club than another 2000 seats under cover for the average punter. With the money we have to play with we can't do much better. We don't have $150 million to rebuild stands etc.

Spot on mate. Hopefully this will get us those corporates. Though I think I noticed some addition seating also in the design, but we lose chairman’s lounge. (Haven’t has a good look at design)

I wonder how Pointsbet will feel about not having a 'Pointsbet Stadium'; for two years.

You would have to think they knew this and maybe took it at a cheap 1 year deal???

Until we see some real plans from the club, everything at present is concept designs only and will probably change a few times before construction commences. Also found this image above in the planning site which is vastly different to that in the concept designs.

Those Corporate Suites look set back a long way. Be lucky to see a try scored far end same side of ground
