You got one guy who didn’t even turn up and another guy out on the wing who had a good 10 rounds. Stack that up against a guy who tackled his heart out, made an incredible amount of running metres and helped take his team to a Prelim. As I said it’s bloody criminal Iro didn’t win.

It’s a disgrace he didn’t get it.

Oh well I'm disappointed, shattered Kayo Iro didn't get recognised, he probably did deserve the award. Look on the bright side, at least Hynesy got recognised as the Ken Stephens medal for doing so much of his goodness he's got in his heart, Penitani from our Womens team got 2 awards aswell.

I'm very pleased that Hughes took out the Dally M this season, he's deserved it for 2-3 years now. Despite playing for Melbourne, I've always appreciated him, he's probably one of the more humble blokes in the NRL from the top regular teams.

Despite all the negative media attention he cops, he's always delivering himself with class, I guarantee you now, the journalists who always put him down will be absolutely shell shocked, they'll still find a way to put him down haha. How bad they are.

Always feels like Sharks players fail to gain recognition from outside the club unless they’re blatantly obvious
To be honest a bit disappointed someone like Farnworth got the award over Ramien. Not sure if that is because my goggles are on, but Ramien did seem pretty consistent all year.

Def has a big future in the media, knows her footy, speaks well on camera.
