the warriors will be highly motivated, more than us sadly and we need to bring an 'A' game.
warriors have the ability to knock over raider or manly when you don't expect it.
we need to find the hunger again and needs to be THIS week.

need major improvement from last weeks defensive efforts; and leave the brain explosions/poor decisions at the gate;

often JMo has spoken of a good solid start; yet to see something like that. need that this week to put us in the 8, then see what happens.

i thought SJ was also in doubt this week??? thought it would be trindall/tracey combo again.

I'm not sure about them being more highly motivated.

We win this and we almost certainly guarantee a top 8 finish.

I'll be surprised if we don't come out looking to make a statement.

JMo I imagine will be looking to play the under dog card/siege mentality given the suspensions and circumstances.

Putting it out there that I reckon we come out with intent.

Don't know why so many of you seem to rate the 2 or 3 teams below us. They're outside of the 8 for a reason.

yeah i know but sometimes these teams seem to have a run.
we we assist that...like when we seem to get teams back into form

look I hope warriors are hot garbage on the weekend! but all the same we lift our game in all aspects. if we don't we will just make up numbers.

I like what you're saying,
hope we do show more intent.

I was hoping the sharkies would prove me wrong last week, and then...

I’m hoping we do a Newcastle this week. They got flogged by the Warriors and then duly came out and flogged us.

That loss stung them into action. Let’s hope it does the same to us.

Ok we’ll have no Wade, no Townsend and possibly no SJ. But there’s still enough there for us to get across the line.

Well Wilton is an edge backrower, Fifita is not.

Probably a few things they can do with the line up but maybe just putting Wilton in there is least disruption. Leaves Talakai to destroy from the bench.

Though I would like to see Fifita back in the team, but at who's expense?

Sorenson probably needs to go, but Williams probably takes his spot.

Could go four forwards on the bench but i think Tracey deserves his spot, and if Trindall starts we have the option to bring Tracey on for either Trindall or Brailey depending on the game.

Sorensen is currently the second best left edge back rower in the team (after Wade).

... but Wilton will be playing that spot long term.

I’d start with Wilton but would keep Soro in the 17 somewhere. I think he’s been decent in the middle, and it doesn’t hurt to have a competent edge player on the bench for injury cover. Defence could be an issue though - depends if we want two rookies defending side by side.

I also think it will help a little for the left side half to have a “normal” back rower in there. As good as Wade is, he doesn’t play a style that halves would be immediately comfortable with. In 2018 I thought Moylan’s best games at 6 were the ones Wade missed, and I thought in 2019 other than the amazing 20 against Parra, the whole left edge was very clunky for a while whenever Wade came back in.

With Graham and Chad out Fifita is a must for me. His experience is essential for this match imo.

Sorro can take Nikora's position .
Him , Wilton and the coach can decide what side suits each player .
We need DEFENCE , attack a bonus at this stage

That’s crazy. Morris not picking Fifita last week was a mistake the boys themselves say how important he is and what he bring to youngins when he’s on the field.

Hope it’s not true

Agree with this. I love Graham but we (and he) over-rely on his ball playing. It's no good having a second rower as a back up kicker if he can't do his primary job well too.
