Ramien and Dugan are strong, that’s good when you give them space to get them 1 on 1. But we don’t give them space, or early ball.

This will be unpopular but I wonder if our centres are a bit slow for the modern game?

The new breed like Staggs, Best, Lomax and Crichton are electrifying and create from nothing.

Our centres are strong as but is that enough?

Hard to say... we’ve had so little consistency in the halves that I don’t know that they’ve had much opportunity. But the guys you’ve mentioned are amongst the best.

Letting Morris go was the biggest mistake we’ve made. So frustrating... would have solved so many issues for us through this season.

On the halves, how hard is to get the ball to your centres early though?

Agree on Morris.

I guess we did have a young exciting centre but he ****ed hus career.

If anyone is suspended for the lifting tackle it should be Wade, not Toby.

Post game show thought Wade .
That would be the best result for us , as Wade's busted anyway and might get a captains challenge right without him .
Need Toby against Warriors .
ALSO looks like Uele is the culprit in the other lifting tackle .
I'd roll the dice and give/unleash Pele a short stint the in the front row and see how he goes if /when Uele gets suspended.

That performance was absolutely disgraceful, they put the Black White & Blue jersey to shame tonight. I was pretty much embarrassed to be a big Cronulla supporter after that match.

Chads hit, I liked it, there was no way that was a send off offence, I've seen worse then that thats only been given a sin bin at best, Ponga himself said it wasn't high & probably wasn't send off, just that it was Cronulla & they wanted to take advantage of it (referees). Imo if that is a send off, the game has gone soft, I saw those every game back in those tough days.

Will Kennedy - the great changa Langlands had a game like Kennedy’s last night ONCE
Ronaldo - hohum another week another try scored down his side
Ramien - tried hard went looking but that’s about all , will be looked a t I think by tribunal
Dugan - tried hard little ball
Goodwin - Is he really related to Lord Ted ?
Trindall - did he play ? Went missing
Townsend - copped a pasting at half time and went ballistic - deserved to be sent imho - stupid play
Rudolph - a couple of really stupid plays not himself and on report
nikora - didn’t notice him
Graham , sadly shadow of years gone by , on report and injured will miss a game or two or three
Woods - thanks for coming
Brailey - tried hard not much help from team mates
Uele - went missing big time looked like was playing in slow motion and on report

Talakai -not his normal self either
hunt - tried hard
Tracey will get the number 7 next week regardless of what happens to Townsend
Sorensen like woods thanks for showing up to make up the numbers

And these 17 above want to play semi final football ? Maybe they don’t !

I lost count after about 7 or 8 tackles where the second man in lifted the legs , we could well have had even more in trouble , one in back play was particularly bad and seems to have gone unnoticed

Wake up sharks

On Ronaldo coming in. Watch again. Jesse was caught at marker which meant they had a big overlap.

Ronaldo had no choice but to come in.

If it's the first try people are worried about it definitely wasnt his fault. We were shot on the short side

Well said. I thought Woods went OK (compared to the rest of the pack at least)

So where to now? Do we bring Moylan or Fifita back? Game vs warriors next week will pretty much decide 8th.

I think the most telling thing this game was a period where our halves were screaming at the forwards to get set for their hit ups, and there was a lot of looking at boots going on. Chad was pissed off majorly and letting rip, and you could see how disorganised our attack was. We just didn’t want a part of the physicality the knights were serving us. Was really disappointing to see that attitude amongst so many of them.
