Here it comes guys corporate boxes for the boys free flights to see the team play all over the country, renovations being done at board members and billed to the club.

Watch the gravy train ramp up guys!

I dont know how people can say its a positive thing for the club. Im skeptical about all these new blokes. But lets see I guess.

Well last time we had people like this on the board they ran up 13 million worth of debt.

Its going to be really interesting to see how this pans out and how quickly slothfeld turns on them as well as any negative story about the sharks is a good story.

So....

What happens now?

How long will it take for them to review the staff sackings? If it turns out that they want to reinstate the sacked staff, what happens to their replacements? (Steve Noyce.)

As opposed to the other new blokes who were running? The only candidates who had been there for any length of time were Douglas, Irvine, Kerr and Tiernan. Even Coleman has only been there a very short time. Was always going to be a bunch of new blokes on the board.

Hopefully Douglas retained his position.

Does anyone know if John Dunphy got in.

I saw a young bloke in the foyer over the weekend in the early afternoon with 2 schooners in his hand yelling to his mate to run upstairs and vote after they signed in;

"what voting" they said. The young bloke then says "the board, vote for those unity guys so they can get rid of the other blokes". The other 2 then go upstairs and vote.

As I said before, same crap as Kevin07. With hindsight some have said the Howard years were the most productive and well governed years in Australia history, only to be torn down because Kevvy went on twitter and Kyle & Jackie O.

Now look at this country.

I hope this doesn't turn out the same but unlike federal politics the true members of the sharks only have to wait 2 years.

(oh and true to form the payback has already started this morning..)

Sad day for the Club, we’ll go backwards without dynamic trustworthy leaders like Irvine, who snaps it at Rothfield once and then everyone turns on him. Sharks voters have no soul, or appreciation for administrators who saved the Club from death!

Too cut and run was not the answer.

Watch Buzz turn his agenda on the club now. Nothing but positive stories about the board. I hate this ****.

Irvine put his foot in his mouth twice.. and caused massive damage doing so. I wouldn't let him run the sausage sizzle at the local footy ground, let alone a professional club.

Think this is a good day for the Cronulla Sharks. It has taken some drama to get these guys out of the woodwork, but we finally have a board of successful businessmen who can take this club to the next level. Add the best 2 candidates from the old board, and think this is a great balanced result.

Looking forward to things to come :)

The good news is that we have some serious heavy hitters in place right now - Bruno Cullen and Steve Noyce. I trust them to run the club with supreme competence.

So - what odds on seeing the four sacked blokes reinstated in some capacity?

Good chance under the new board I think. Would remove the potential litigation from these guys as well, one less thing to worry about.
