Are we able to vote that ricky surace guy from B2B onto the board? I read somewhere that they only need 100 votes against the current board for to get booted? It was in an article on fox sports. Surely I'm interpreting it wrong?

I'm a season ticket holder and will join the leagues club if it means I can vote to shake up the current board. If anyone can explain the current election process and what if anything, I can do to get new faces on there by signing up to the leagues club and voting, that would be great. Cheers.

Not sure amamo, I read somewhere you have to be a football club member for 3 years? Now I well and truley qualify for that but Ive never seen any info sent to me on voting or no one has ever told me I could?

Even if he and the board members survive the election, which will be held over the next six days, they could lose their positions if members secure enough signatures to force an extraordinary general meeting.

Cronulla-Sutherland Leagues Club has about 18,000 members and at least 2000 are expected to attend the AGM on Thursday. Only 100 of them need to sign a resolution calling for an extraordinary general meeting.

The above quote re Brent Read and Stuart Honeysett (above) may hold the answer to getting rid of the board...Does anyone have a copy of the Clubs constitution...and is anyone a solictor (buggered is I can interpret this sh!t) We need to know if this is possible and be armed with the legal knowlwdge in carrying it out...

I felt bad this morning because I found out we don’t actually have a marketing department because we can’t afford it, I’ve been giving the club an absolute hammering about poor marketing and this is why it’s been so bad, we don’t have any?

My question is, why haven’t the Club asked for help before now, volunteers to help with this sort of stuff. Do these board members and chairman have such an ego that they would rather die than ask for help?

Magnay did it again today too. She wrote an entire article based on Zappia giving Eels finals tickets to friends before season ticket holders while at the Eels. It has nothing to do with anything going on now and was brought up at the time. I don't understand how she is allowed to bring in old stories with no new information simple to pedal her agenda. It is an absolute joke and i am outraged!

I have one...we need some volunteers to man Shark Park on the weekend with a petition to have the board resign...we ask everyone attending to sign the petition...a lot of phone calls to TV and Radio stations should draw the required media attention...anyone volunteer to be spokeman. Sh1t I'm clutching at straws here but I'm desparate for us to survive...

Has anyone seen the shoddy Nominees form they sent out to members? It is riddled with typos and errors. No one has bothered to proof read a thing. No marketing team, no quality control I guess.

Don Anderson's bio is a disgrace. He says he is "currently leaving in Cronulla" and part of his achievements are "the continues refurbishment of the leagues club".

Keith Ward, who is a former head of retail banking at Advance Bank before it was swallowed by St George, has very strong business credentials and should be retained. But again his bio has shocking typos through it.

Yeah I read that too, I'm thinking Peirce cares more for his chairmanship of the NRL than he does for us, that's what I thought out of the article.
