Well this is the most important time in the clubs history. It is the dawning of a new age. I would expect a board member to be present at the AGM, but that's just me.

The AGM is tomorrow isnt it.

Wrong again, the fact he did it for nothing goes to the character of the man. Unlike the dis-Unity mob, he is a proven performer that is trustworthy when it comes to strategic decision making and the finances of the Club.

Some of you guys are so fickle, I hope we don’t go to war I’d hate to be stuck in a trench with you lot.

Great character, loyal, trustworthy, hard worker, all good qualities to have. Unfortunately there's a bit more involved than that.

Some of you lot are too emotionally involved because of your friendships with Irvine or because he did the job for love and sacrificed a lot and you've let this cloud your judgement. I don't know what small circles you mix in but the wider community seemed to be all against him. And there's all these law suits flying around. Maybe in the future he might find his way back on but not now.

Iam not a fickle at all. I call it how I see it and what I think is best going forward. I've always praised Irvine and if warranted will criticise as well. Half you lot are already trashing and writing off the new board members before they have had a chance. Isn't that what they call 'narrow mindness'.

The money that shark energy and fishermans friend paid would be lucky to make any part of the jersey of any other team.

Bull****. You have no idea what they paid, you're basing that comment on info from Weedler and $&&@/:)&@, and it's been stated by the club that those reports were incorrect.

Shark paid in the order of $700K. That's fair money in Anyone's language.

u·ni·ty

/ˈyo͞onətē/

Noun

1.The state of being united or joined as a whole, esp. in a political context.
2.Harmony or agreement between people or groups.

If Douglas has been voted on the board in light of everything that has gone on, then obviously there is a large group of members that believe the finances and risk have been managed well in the past. If Unity is the platform then they must ensure they listen to ALL the members and make the right decisions in the future for our club and put the "tickets" in the past. If this happens then I am behind them 100%

I dont base that just on Weilder and co and ive never once heard or read any figure like 700k. All we've heard is the club decided not renew the arrangement because they were basically paying peanuts.

If 700k is the case then why aren't they still on the front of the jersey.

Seriously it's time to get over it. The results are in and we now get back to supporting the club. It's now time to support the board who now have the job to do helping us fulfill our potential and ensure we never have our place in the NRL in doubt ever again. We now have proper businessman in place who will run the club like a business for the first time since I can remember. Damian Keogh wasn't just a former basketball player. CEO of Val Morgan is pretty impressive. Val Morgan is a pretty ****ing big company in this country so he'd have to know what he's doing to run a company like that.

Haha Yeah let’s go back to accumulating massive amounts of debt and doing nothing about it. Can’t wait to get over it and move on to watch that!

I didn't realise Barry Pierce and his chronies had been re-elected. When did that happen?

I think we'll be having another election before the end of the year.
