I hope Dino sticks around. I don’t know all the ins and outs, but he always speaks impressively and seems to be one of the few on the board who has that real corporate experience we need over the next few years, and when working out how to manage $40 million.

Is that the case though? Isn't a large portion of that being spent on the reno?

also, how dumb can the board be

dino just hired the CEO, who would likely leave as well

and we would have instability at the top when we have no home ground for 2 years

these guys are ****ing retarded

$12 million out of $40 million is in escrow for the Leagues club reno, but how it is spent is still up to the board I imagine. Would be nice to see some guarantees that it won't go to companies linked to directors.

You know it will.

Do we not have any corporate governance in place at all? Conflicts of interests?

Hopefully spend large chunk of that cash to build a centre of excellence build it across the road on
captain cook oval like what Penrith did.

Disagree. I would put it all towards investments that will generate ongoing revenue streams and fan experience.

Centre of Excellence is going to be in the building that connects the Monty Porter Stand to the ET stand and wraps around the back of it for the full length of the field. Its why the ground is being shut down for two years as construction work is happening on all four edges of the ground at once. Federal Government is also throwing money at it.

That other cash which is not spent on the new leagues club is for income producing assets.

.

Knowing us we'll probably stick it all in a term deposit.

I am hoping those income producing assets would be stock or property or interest in the bank

We should divide it up between the 2 major political parties as political donations and get them to heritage list us so that we can never be removed from the game.
