My original post said ā€˜did you see the spray Des gaveā€™ as an overall towards coaches giving their team a spray.

Itā€™s sometimes required and it does work example Bellamy, Cleary etc

What you two are writing is completely irrelevant to what I wrote ffs. Donā€™t give two shits about how the titans are going.
Yep. Two different teams two different coaches

Still Rekon Fitz has that steely cold stare that pierced right through you and thatā€™s enough to generally get a response, the idea of weekly sprays that are generally called for in here is embarrassing.

Can I add that Fitz didnā€™t spray them and they dragged themselves off the mat and won whilst down on troops , so the idea of a spray to get a result is again wrong -wasnt required. Poor ole tiger have been getting sprayed by their fans and a myriad of different coaches last 10 years howā€™s that gone 4 them?

True but itā€™s more that the Raiders have even let us back in.. they are playing very very bad
Though Ricky summed it up nicely. The Sharks should be proud of their efforts with a team drawing on so many 'second string' players

Why waste a spray if it isn't going to achieve anything?

I agree it's sometimes warranted but I also think not all coaches are the same. Do you see Bennett spraying his players much? I feel as though Fitz is more in that mould.
Iā€™ve heard a few of stories how Bennett coaches.

Doesnā€™t say much in press conferences after losses to help protect his players from the media. Really knows how to man manage players individually but still no special treatment. More in the mould of ā€œIā€™m not mad but Iā€™m disappointedā€ after losses, which can really hit players more some times.

I agree, from what I can see from the outside looking in of Fitz, heā€™s more in this mould of a coach.

Yeah I think if a players earnt it then they definitely deserved it. If the player showed back respect, trained and played hard, then special treatment can be shown, thatā€™s a part of good man management.

Different coach but Cam Smith apparently never done weight training, he earnt that. A young bloke walking in and says Im good enough to not do weights would go down like a lead balloon

"The attitude towards the game of Fitzgibbon, the Sydney Roosters second-rower, is a lesson to any young player. He plays to his potential every week. And there's no rubbish in him at all - he just gets on with the game and the job he has to do. At Cronulla, I worked with his old man, Alan Fitzgibbon, and he was all quality too."

Played the role well but yeah, def an argument he is wasted vs how good he is at centre.

Tough decisions
It is man. I agree he did a good job when he came on but I feel he needs to be on the field more often than not. But Iro did a great job tonight also.

Joys of being a coach I guess.

Well boys. I think Fitz has given you all an insight to his view about the Sifa and Iro debate.

Basically they both need to be in the 17 but itā€™s a week to week proposition as to the make up of the number on their backs (My guess is 4 on Iro, one of 14-17 on Sifa more often than not)

I reckon keep mixing it up. Keep Iro hungry.

His time will clearly come, but Iā€™d wanna pull him back a bit before things turn bad and dampen such a good introduction to first grade.

To fit in seemingly unoticed can only be a good thing for when itā€™s actually needed, but Iā€™m sure he wonā€™t be too upset having a bloke on 3 times his wage take his spot back.
