I've always liked Fitz but this **** has to stop. It's his third year now and it's well and truly his team.

Early days this season for sure but if nothing changes the rest of the year then I think plenty will have lost faith.
He’s just an average coach with a lot of media hype. 3 years on and I don’t even think we have an identity

Yeah man can’t argue it based on what we have seen. We don’t have much backbone.

Keep waiting for this supposed defensive steel that is his DNA

I think Trindall has been going well apart from tonight, but he’s not the only one to blame.

The only alternative I can see is Dykes. It will happen at some point
The way we play/Nicho plays.. Dykes will have the same problem trying to fit in

No excuse if he keeps going with trindall...woeful no 6
I don't think we can blame just him, I saw Hynes put 2 kicks out on the full unfortunately. We've got to be better then what the Souths have been in regards to Illias for example.

Fair assessment. We haven't exactly improved as a team since his first season.
Still early days though and there's hope things might get better... might being the operative word.

We are soft compared to most teams, never muscle up or go hard defensively as a pack. Hardly any strong tackling, and no enforcers or hard hitters. Our forward hit ups are easily handled, and lack intensity.

I dont think Fitz will change anything, he seems to lack intensity as a coach also😅

It's disappointing neither can recognise that the Tiger's game plan and offloads did the damage.

It's not just about effort and ball control.

I dunno - round 1 against the Warriors showed plenty of back bone.
This game reverses all the good of the warriors game now unfortunately Which was Our best game this season (admittedly it’s only been 3 rounds)

We got lucky against the dogs and disrespected the opposition against the Tigers (who aimed up and we didn’t) so got what we deserved.

Let’s hope we make amends next game!

We need to be winning these games if we are serious.

I’m not going to overreact to this game. It’s a shithouse performance but optimistically, in terms of what this could do for the growth of the team for this season, is quite fortunate.

This should really reset the mentality of this team, very early on in the season. If these types of performances continue to rear their head across the season, then there is the cause of concern and the questions of Fitz’s, and this teams capability.

I don’t think the performance undoes anything. We were camped on our line against a genuine premiership contender at their home ground and where resolute in defending it.

To say we got lucky against the Dogs is pretty red hot too.

Sorry, I meant in terms of 2 points and ladder position.

The good win (and 2 probably unexpected points) against a top tier side is undone (“reverses”) by a loss (and expected 2 points) against the Tigers.

Warriors game shows what we are capable of.
The Tigers game is the ugly side of what our team can put out at times.

somewhat like the consistency (or lack of) the NRL and officiating over the different games, rounds, season

What the coach says publicly is just a sub-section of what he thinks privately, and he obliged to say something. Errors + effort is a mulligan to get the presser over with asap.

Errors definitely played a part. I'd also say that for plenty of those offloads the 3rd guy in not making a good enough effort to lock the ball up was a factor.

I'd say the response was accurate, but not comprehensive.

Not often id agree with you but you hit the nail on the head.

The game was embarrassing, but hopefully a hit of a one off **** performance coupled with Tiges playing well.

People saying we dodged a bullet in the dogs game….we conceded 1 try, while a man down. First half dogs through everything at us but they kept shuttinf it down. Just because we didnt score most points until late means nothing. Thats when our scoring opportunities presented and we took those chances with both hands. Must be some spoilt little bitch to think a 20 point win is a let off.
