No, but it means a team is always continuing to develop.

Go watch each game again, the tries we have conceded are not from poor coaching and poor defensive structures. They’ve been from awful individual defensive decisions (Talakai, round 1), awful individual one on one tackles (Moylan round 1 & 3, Ramien round 2) and awful individual positioning (Katoa round 2 & 3).
Genuinely asking.

At what point do we expect the coach to make changes to address awful individual defensive decisions? I don't think you overhaul a system after 3 rounds (few more if you count the end of last year). I also don't think we are yet at the stage of dropping players, but we can't be too far off it. We are in a run of conceding 20 points+, particularly against good sides.

If we concede another 40 over the next two weeks do we ring the alarm bells?

Who cares if it’s the 3rd round.

We’ve dropped 4 points, you can’t get those back

We lost games the exact same way we did last year and we are worse defensively now a year into his program then when he first started

We don’t have no juniors playing for us neither so that’s not an excuse anymore

Right… come let’s both do the same kind of activity in that heat and see how we do.
i have a feeling that you’ll be in the floor within 10 mins or probably less. I used to work and train in that type of heat for many of yrs, it saps you big time mentally, physically and emotionally

braliey, and Williams arent they juniors?

that game was poor from both sides and the heat was a major factor.

My biggest concern is we don't even look to consider repeat sets when nothing is on. If someone does try what looks like it, it looks entirely unplanned & untrained for.

We spend good chunks of time & effort getting in good-ball then decide its try or nothing and need to start again where we get the ball back after a set of D if it doesn't work.

A few repeat sets on Raiders last night we win easy. Need to control possession and apply pressure. We almost won off the repeat opportunities they gave us, imagine if we create & control our own.

If we were a team that is big on kick chase we could’ve got a couple repeat sets

A number of Trindalls kicks landed right on their tryline

What changes can you make to address individual defensive decisions long-term other than dropping the player?

The weather excuse is bullshit cause Raiders turned up.
Exactly. After the **** we’ve dished out these first 3 weeks, I am very nervous that extending this bloke for as long as we have could come back to really bite us in the ass.
