Pat is NFL… haven’t watched him too much but maybe similar to Bloke a bit, he was an nfl punter and I think actually quit to do his media stuff while he was still capable of playing well

Be interesting what bench superfitz picks next week if tolman is fit

Perhaps the plan all along was to give tricky a game here and there in Newtown to give him some match fitness and keep him on his game

There is also the fact he went with the extra forward because of the minutes tolman plays, share it around a bit (have checked today's minutes)

He has the luxury of being robust with the bench he picks with the abundance of depth players we have

He may very well not have a fixed 14-17 and it's just a week by week scenario depending on who we play

I don't pay too much attention to rotations live but BHU & Toby had much longer first stints. Felt like a bit of a test/experiment.

I agree. It's a bit horses for courses ATM. Love it. I love a 'focus on our game' mentality' but an ability to also take the opposition in mind is upper level.

After a fairly scruffy performance this is Fitz first test , to get the team mentality re-aligned and on focus for Storm . Going to be interesting to see what the game plan is , especially with Finucanes input .

Yeah I think so too - although I'd definitely look at Hunt over Tolman for some match ups
Williams to hold jersey over Trindall this week and I'd probably keep Fifita closer to 20 minutes this game

I think our current game an is quite universal. Dominate middle and quick ball to the backs - with options.

Just need to be doing it better against the Storm. Can't afford giving away easy penalties and 6 agains.

Nikora 60, Wilton 66, Braily 71, Uele & Rudolph only 40 after longer first stints. Finucane 51
McInnes got a lot more minutes to get his fitness up.

Definitely was a luxury to play the Tigers the week before Melbourne.
I'd almost pick Metcalfe on the bench as cover, but we should be covered well enough with the 4 forwards we run off the bench and the guys in the top 13.
