Bort in relation to the voting. When you compare Trindal and games when he played more then a small fraction of the game (20 mins or more) he ended up with a higher average voting then Moylan, this coming from a rookie, with a load of improvement.

Also just went back through the Moylan thread to see what the consensus appeared to be….it is quite clear that the vast majority of forum members are nothing short of “spewing” about the Moylan signing and while it appears he did had a couple of good games it is evident reading the thread he had more bad games where he made a load of mistakes.

Fingers crossed he is playing left right out !

I suspect we were overjoyed by anything we got from Trindall and deathrode Moylan... Not sure we should use the voting as a measure for team selection

Yeah that's what I hope is our starting halves and what it will be ( Fitz asked me personally on what I thought was best)

Just going off all the interviews with Hynes where he would mention he’s normally a half and how he’s ready for the keys to the side. Put that with Fitz wanting (new deal) and talking up Moylan quite a bit in interviews.

I’m thinking we are going to trot out 7 Hynes 6 Moylan first, pending injuries and trials.

I like the sensible things Fitz says in that article - he sounds quite measured yet open minded

I feel pretty comfortable where our retention and recruitment is, even thinking a few season ahead I think we will manage it appropriately and a good season under Fitz should only make things easier although that will probs mean good players performances which might have them asking for more $$$ but we gotta spend it anyway and end of the day we want good performers and players at our club

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a coach this hyped up for a job before, by everyone, not just the fans of the club he coaches.

If it were a player, you’d be worried about the unnecessary pressure on him not having played before.

He’s gunna have to be coach of the year and spoken about with Bellamy, Bennett and Robinson by the end of the season to live up to the hypes
