tolman is no guarantee to be here next year, and rudolf and BHU should be looking at the jets draw the way they are playing at the moment

For most our guys there is to big of a gap between what they’re capable of and what they produce week in week out. That’s one thing Fitz will have to fix up in our guys.

I think BHU has looked better from the bench. I wouldn’t flick him at this stage. I’ve got a feeling Tolman will get a new deal, I don’t have anything to back that up, just a gut feeling, he probably deserves one anyway.

Fitz has a lot of work to do, not so much development of talent but attitude. There is a real **** attitude around them.

Good bench option atm, I wouldn't flick him, but if we bring someone in and Toby goes into prop rotation it is up to Toby, BHU, Tolman, Hunt, Williams, Talakai, Pele and Wilton/Nikora to fight for the 5 spots available in a fit 17.
Might be ambitious to think we will ever see a fit 17 though.

Rudolf definitely needs to be placed on the bench as a prop forward. Think the game is evolving more to have a ball playing lock in the middle. Rudolf is great for a hit up but man he gets gassed.

He's got a big job ahead of him, that's for sure. I hope he's ready for the challenge.

Here's hoping his biggest challenge is how to manage the cap after he brings in three origin quality players. It's what we're all expecting, really

Say we sign a couple of props. Who drops out then? Woods is already gone and lets assume that McInnes is still going to play lock for now. Who out of this list doesn’t deserve to play first grade in your eyes:

Tolman
Rudolf
Williams
Hamlin-Uele

Love Tolman but we should be able to survive without him if we learn to tackle and improve some fitness in the forwards and make the little efforts around the ruck that we will miss in Woods absence . Tolman can be quality depth for us though but his runs don't do much for us other than saving another players energy

Rudolf ain't that special and has consistent mistakes in him week to week - he shouldn't be guaranteed a spot until he lifts his game

Bring in Royce Hunt

Replace Nikora in second row with a big heavy powerful runner - CHN just showed us how it is done

Persist with BHU for now as I think he is coming back to us slowly form wise. Williams a no brainer, has been outstanding but leave him as a bench player

Need to organise a scandal for someone decent at another club so we can poach them

This is why we still need Flanno Snr on our books in a specialist role

without SJ Nikora might become even more invisible

Maybe a touch of **** stirring in this question, but anyone think these attitude issues would be any different if Bomber was still here?

Quite possibly, seemed to really like Bomber and his sacking perhaps a big factor in it, although could perhaps suggest issues existed before as club already weren't sold on him.

I think they would have creeped up eventually. It’s not as prevalent this year, as it was last year, but we are still a pretty young team in desperate lead of some leadership and contribution. We’ve been without massive amounts of our salary cap for so long, the young guys are busting there asses and not getting the results they want. Add to that a QLD bubble, can you really blame them? I’d hope the club is calling these blokes every day checking in on them
