I doubt Penrith would be keen to go to the UK for the WCC just a week before playing the season opener in Vegas.
This scheduling is rather peculiar since Penrith were favourites again this year for the title.
And thus, with my tinfoil hat firmly placed on top of my head, I announce that the 2024 NRL season was rigged from the beginning since the powers that be decided long ago that Melbourne would win the GF this year.
