May is a much better half/hooker than Tracey. For starters he can pass and tackle.

Lots of Tracey love here lately. He’s doing a a great job as a fill in attack-wise, but he has still been a liability defensively.

That’s what I was going to say.. some love him because he’s all effort but in the bigger games we need better talent then what he offers.

May is a better footballer then Tracey but May isn’t worth anywhere near 500k

I think Tracey's good performances in the outside backs has shown how mediocre he is anywhere in the spine but if you threw him back into hooker or halves now he would probs go a bit better than previous on confidence and game fitness alone. Tyrone May would be more solid in the spine but I still don't want to sign him.

Lot of blokes in our squad need tackling practice but blokes like Tracey, Wilton ect barely even know what position they gunna play week to week they shuffled around so much due to injuries, suspensions so I can cut them a bit more slack

Capewell was all effort but a bit erratic and made weird/dumb errors, now he's cleaned himself up a bit with time and really making a go of things. Tracey may well do the same.

Agree May isn't worth near 500k, although I believe the number was $500 not $500k and that statement is being misinterpreted

A DT article about Sharks interested in May for rumoured 500k per season was probably halfway typed before we clarified

Unfortunately they also choose to ignore what they don't agree with and get away with making up their own 'sources'.

Let's not forget as well that Capewell was really starting to enter beast mode towards the end of his Sharks career and that was after stringing together multiple games week to week. he even made that QLD Origin squad as the 10th reserve or whatever it was
