RFM is utter average.

Deadset not what is required for the lineup.

Even just talk people consider that any form of option is scary

Proper rank since injury…..

What’s the source on this one?
Got a couple of guys who are close to the club who I was chatting too a week or so ago. Just asked them what our cap situation was and they said we are roughly 340-380k under the cap at this stage for next season.

So before Moylan was released then - cheers.

That's not much space with a 28 man roster. Need to sign at least 2 min wage guys for the final two slots.

Moylan release makes it a bigger number. Likely can't make it to 95% of the cap by just signing guys to min.

Yeah not much at all. However with Moylan leaving and possibly Tracey that could see us with close to 1 mil. Tracey I believe was on close to 400k. Moylan being at 350k. Only problem there is we’d need to sign 4 players with that money so not sure what the thinking is here. What is the min wage? Is it 150k?

I thought that his most recent problems were more to do with the loss of 6kg during a month in bed with pneumonia and then weakness and breathing problems from training when he was still suffering from the effects of the pneumonia.

You must be watching your TV from the opposite side of the room.

I think he's a great player when he's healthy.

If that all adds up then we're actually doing a great job of managing our roster. Our core group is signed on for a while longer yet and we'll have good money to spend on a high-quality player (and we do need another rep quality player... well, 3-4... but Nikora, Hynes and Ronnie might end up fitting that bill... maybe even Blayke and WIlton).

Min was $120k last year. Haven’t seen confirmed number for this year, but there is normally a small % rise. I’d say $125k is a good guess.

The more I think about it the more I’m ok with us letting him go now. Want to see him playing Nrl every week, he deserves that.

Really want to see what Iro can do in the nrl also and feel Tracey is only holding him back. Think Iro has a much higher ceiling than Tracey.

I don't see anything exciting in Iro at all.

That being said, Conner will never be anything but a filler in our squad.

Really? I see a guy who can make good metres and bust tackles for fun. He has a fairly elusive running style kinda like val.

Whether he'll cut it across all aspects who knows, but I think there's something to be optimistic about.

Yeah I see the same. Needs to be given a shot. We might have a hidden gem right under our noses. Give him a go at least, if it doesn’t work then at least we know and can move on.

I can see Val in Iro.
His size, running style, evasiveness and speed.

He has the capability of being a great centre.

Just hope he doesn’t have the same fascination with sugar!

Oops! Didn’t read this until after I posted.
Yep, I agree
He is “Val esque” that’s for sure.

I’d like to see us give him full games in the trial matches (playing 80 mins in all trials) to see how he fairs when the opposition plays their strongest sides and playing fatigued to see how he copes backend of games v NRL quality

Never thought about Tracey like that...
