I still don't understand why so many people want to move Sifa from the centres. What is the motivation for this?

Beats the hell out of me why some people are so insistent. He has been killing it at centre.

The mind boggles sometimes.

Yep, it's ridiculous.

I think, and understand, its because we are a bit light in the forwards. Connor has seriously been a huge attacking meter eating, spark for us, and its a way to keep him in the team When we at full strength, its probably less likely a move.

It’s pretty easy to understand why there are calls to move Talakai into the forwards.

But not sure Connor is the guy to replace him

Not to me it's not mate. Can you explain it for me?

Are we really? I think there is plenty of good players in form in the forwards right now. I may agree if we lose a couple more to injury but at the moment, Sifa is best suited to us at centre. As @Milkshark said, there is no one to replace him at centre.

Wilton and Nikora are a great 2nd row pairing. Wilton is getting better all of the time. We lack a bit minute prop or lock that can dominate, but we do have a decent pack.

Not a huge number of props/locks that can dominate around, although I agree it'd be nice to have one

BHU has shown glimpses of it. As much as it can be tough when you lose your starting front row. The extra minutes and responsibility provided Hazleton, Hunt and Kafausi will bide us well later in the season.

I hope your right, but i don't think Decents gonna be good enough. I've thought for 2 yrs its been understrength/soft even when all available. We never have really come close to replacing a top form Fifita, type of body/player .Next two weeks will test it.

I should add the word consistently. Very few middles can consistently dominate in the NRL.
BHU more so but even a couple times Hunt has shown the physicality needed to dominate individual games but both a long way off putting it together consistently. BHU could actually be close if he didn't keep getting shaken around by injury. Rudolf doesn't have the physicality to do it but that is not the only way - he's actually basically the exact same dimensions as Patty Carrigan who is an absolute beast, but has an elite motor and footy IQ

A clear typo mate, he meant 'the c****'

Yep, there are some very poor judges on here.

Connor is clearly a better player than the statue but there are plenty who can't see that.

Tracey has guts and determination. He definitely offers 110% for sure but has a terrible passing game and there is no way he could replicate some of the tap on’s that Sifa makes.

Tracey also doesn’t “fold c@^£$ in half” in D.

Sifa is more likely to win a tackle (in both D and attack) and more likely to create a tackle bust or line break

I’m not hating on CT I just think Sifa has the edge on him at Centre

Sifa is strong but hasn't made many breaks for a long while.

His lateral movement is poor. A fast attacker makes him look stupid.

I admired Connor's dad when I played against him and Connor has taken a step forward.
