I never liked Noddy as a player, but was actually suprised at his football knowledge after seeing him on the gameplan or one of those shows disecting plays.

I'd love to see somebody more experienced, but mayby he is an ok option for 9 months.

Realistically Gal is going to run things anyway!

In your head, rent free
noddy to take the helm and front the media ect. with sharp to run keep the ship steady in the background as he does now.

this is what will probably happen as well, probably a good thing

noddy is well known with his work on fox, so that is a plus.

hope he stays on afterwards as well, in soem form of capacity

Would a assistant coach take on a gig knowing its only for 9 months?
I would think not but maybe he will, the media seem to like him and I think he comes across as a good bloke

I would. It's a decent squad that went pretty well last year. There's a bit to work with there and make a name. If the **** hits the fan and some players get banned, the interim coach won't wear the blame.

No iron-clad guarantee he'll be playing, unfortunately.

On the coaching issue, I'd have no problems with the Noddy-Sharp partnership as mentioned by others.

Sharpe as head coach with Lang to assist and manage the players and media commitments.
I'd prefer to see this then bringing Noddy in fresh this season without experience.
It is going to be a tough season I imagine as ASADA investigations still aren't over.

In saying that, the one advantage to Noddy will be his media history and like-ability. It's just that, as someone else has pointed out, I feel Gal would be running the show in any scenario including Noddy as coach.

We could have the CattleShark as a motivator

**** it. Just give Raudonikis a six pack and some smokes and get him to front the media each week.

I'd be happy with Noddy in a coaching role at the club.

I'd be cool with Noddy, even if he is just more-or-less a media front.

Next year it will show how valuable our older heads are. Weneed blokes like gal heighno robbo jmo and lewy to keep the group together. If we had a young team like tigers do now, we'd be absolutely ****ed
