Reynolds is easily ahead of Chad as buy of the year.
I'd have Reynolds over Chad any day. Tough to seperate them based on which team has improved the most though. I heard a stat that the Cowboys are scoring on average an extra 22 pts per game this year or something equally ridiculous.

Yeah tough to say. At this point last year the Broncs had 2 wins and the Cows 4.

2 more last game. Cowboys getting a ridiculous amount of tries from kicks.

I’m happy for Chad. He was unfairly made the scapegoat last year. Seems pretty clear now that in the right circumstances he is still a good player who can push a team around the park and do a job. He just doesn’t provide much strike - which is fine if you have other blokes who can.
Yeah I'm happy for him as well, some of the personal abuse he copped from 'fans' was ridiculous.

If it's not us winning the comp I'd like to see them win it, as unlikely as that is.

Classic Chad lover talk
No side other than Cronulla would be dumb enough to sign him and you know it. Any side that did would probably fall 9 places.
How can the other players around him even go okay when all he does is throw passes back on the inside and do podcasts and think he knows anything about rugby league and he has hair and also he hasn't been to an olympics
No wait I think I went off course at the end there...

I heard he part owns a craft brewery, the muppet should be training for footy 24/7. Maybe a bit of beach sprinting as well.

Seems to be the case. Chad has a really talented young halves parter and they're complementing each other well. Chad just gets to do his thing and it's working perfectly in that team. If he did get the money that's been bandied about it's looking like good value for the Cows now.

We accused him of dragging SJ down, but now...

Great game to have Chad mic'ed up for. He seems to have really embraced the leadership role there and the players seem to respond to him. Probably needed to leave the Sharks years ago for this kind of role in a team. He didn't have it here.

Loved the way he spent the whole game pushing his teammates into tackles :D

Interesting, a lot of in club commenters seemed to think he did, but definitely looks a refreshed man for Cows.
Not sure what my thoughts are on his supposed 800k... still seems like way too much but at the same time they paid what they had to to get him and results seem to suggest they got it right.
Seems a perfect fit for them with a leadership gap in spine and some of their other leaders like JT13 seemingly more of a 'lead by example' type than a big talker.

Cows didn't recruit him to tackle, plays to your strengths Chad haha
