No way we should release him. I would extend him to be honest. However after next season think he needs to be moved between starting & bench. Him starting should be dependent on the team we're playing. He should not have started against Penrith last week however teams who have those smaller packs i say 100% he starts against them.
He can't start. He's not up to it anymore and gets monstered I reckon.

He still has something to add to the team, but probably better after the initial forward battle.

He might be a leader / professional at training and how to conduct yourself off the field .
But Fins Up Boys saying we should move him on .
Whilst being a great defender , tenacious and role model .
He's not necessary the best Captain/Leader on the field and doing those 4th tackle hit ups ( Like Gal used to do ) doesn't always serve us (at least Gal made metres )
I tend to agree , BUT who would Captain if he wasn't ? Brailey ?
I wouldn't want Nicho as stand alone Captain either , just want him to focus on his game .
Like how they’d hate on brailey.
Cam’s doing more than OK
But hope come the end of 25 we can see a clear succession plan.

I think any element of Cam ‘not being effective’ early will be diminished by AFB starting.

Kick off sets he’d mostly tip on.
Get out sets backs will mostly take and WK will take more of the 4th tackle set up plays.
Attack sets he might take some runs mostly as a read options and him and Kaufusi will be our main set up runners on 4th.

If you’re trying to staunch up the the D I don’t think Talakai does that (Williams could have), so would probably mean starting Toby at 13.

I don't need to say anything more... Another horrible, horrible take
They're not exactly in the wrong. I get their point, they've been right about a few things actually, especially about the boys coming up from Newtown.

They were on the mark with Stonestreet, Iro, Coulqhoun, Trindall from what I can remember.

Dan called it at the beginning of the season about BHU too.

They also said Nicho was the best halfback in the comp and Brailey was useless and we desperately needed Klemmer. They follow closely but don't know any more than any other fan that does the same.

No disrespect to them, but you didn’t have to be Nostradamus to ”guess” that these guys would be getting a crack at some point.

Iro probably the one that stands out the most as “maybe” getting more than expected but the other 3 played exactly what was expected

Sammy as first up injury cover for a winger. ✔️

Trindall was always going to be first up call to play in the halves ✔️

Col (again) was always in line for injury cover debut. ✔️

Pretty much most (if not all) of us predicted the 3 above.

Iro, maybe the only exception (given Sifa was centre and still played really well at centre. Iro got a chance due to excessive injuries to our forwards and us requiring to shift Sifa).
- so….Good prediction or “lucky guess”?

BHU is a guess based on injury during preseason (and his history when injured). Could have gone either way (but “educated guess” based on lack of preseason which many In here also predicted as a “possibility“).

They also said Nicho was the best halfback in the comp and Brailey was useless and we desperately needed Klemmer. They follow closely but don't know any more than any other fan that does the same.
Yep!

Nicho started well, so they ran with that and fair enough.
Then “Origin” 🤦🏻‍♂️ which led to a fall in confidence trying to overplay his hand which maybe also contributed to injuries???

Brailey was a concern (very up and down last year) but also showed that he was capable of some brilliant play (so strange call out on that one IMHO)

Klemmer. To hard to judge. We would not know unless he played for us. At times we could have used him given our injuries to FRF stock this season. In saying that, I think we covered our crisis well overall. So maybe we didn’t need him.
So, fence sitting on this one.

Klemmer is an expensive plodder, so glad we missed him.

They played Wilton at captain one time. Seems like he could get another shot. I know Nicho wanted it supposedly, and Brailey's probably got the head for it.

Maybe things have changed dramatically in the last few months, but Dan (nice guy) often mistook players or had only watched half the games (and only half watched those!). And still tried to give opinions. Not ideal.

The players you've mentioned - hardly controversial takes. It's hard to forget they both become anti-Brailey in what must be the worst take on a player in the history of rugba league.

Sorry if I'm ranting, but they're asking for your time with uninformed, clickbaity, ignorant opinions they don't have any genuine information about or insight into (at least since they seem to have burnt their bridges with the players they did know). If that's your game, have at it. I just find it a waste of time... And I've retried a few times. I'd give my time to Sam or the ET boys first.
