No, they don't.

It hasn't.

In 2020 under Covid the commentators were under instruction to say how great it was.. but it wasn't faster. It was crazy-fast (super league) for about 4-6 weeks, and then came back to normal levels. 2022 there were more stoppages than ever in the history of the game, and this year so far is the same.

Just over 50% of the game is "action". Same as 2019. Less than the 90's.

He's not a ballplayer. Never had been. He can still be a good lock though. Just not executing so far this season.

I ****ING LOVED both these players as halves. I've been watching Paix since he was 16. He gave me a stiffy he was so good... but it has taken him a long time to adjust to being a 9. Same for Billy. As a 6 he could rip teams apart, and drag a team around like a boss.. but he is just not big/fast enough to be an NRL half.

Neither player was/is ready to be an 80 minute player. It's good coaching by Kev to find something that works. Seibold had Turpin pegged as the hooker of the future, but he didn't fit Kevie's style,
Would like to see how Walters would go with Hynes, he asks alot of questions in attack, good defender, thought he went good for tigers. He'll miss out when Mozer is ready

We don't have to worry about wasting an interchange spot cause our 4th bench spot is already wasted

Brailey missed 7 tackles against the Warriors and threw a shocking pass over Hunts head which finished us off - tell me there wasn't some element of fatigue or is he just getting worse? And that's before any potential golden point extra time.

We had a good thing going with Seggy interchanging with our starting hooker - even if Brailey was less experienced and we had an inferior (arguably) coach in JMO that seemed to be when Brailz played his best footy, at least with the ball in hand.

You have to wonder if Fitz would have signed McInnes at all a few years back if it were his decision and if so if he had planned to use him the same way as now or more as a dummy half relief/lock player. I mean there are other players that could do the bash and charge like him although he has the bonus of that hooker/lock experience.

Like Dale maybe both coaches could have been hoping for more leadership from both in the absence of Gallen and Wade towards the end of his NRL career.

Mcinnes goes hard, it's that ptb mistake that's ruining him but I he also seems a tad lost in his current role even if it's a simple one and he is trying to focus on it. Still seems like little bit of a waste. I can't think of anyone really nailing that lock role for us since Gallen but Gallen was a unique player in himself.

I also can't think of a really good 9 @ the Sharks since Ennis and what Seggy was giving us from the bench.

Cam threw a pass out of dummy half against the Warriors and it was wobbly and not convincing but it managed to get where it was intended but I'm doubtful he is doing a stack of training in @ dummy half anymore but that can be changed and I am open to it in the absence of other options but will take time for him to find his groove again if at all.

Wet weather may have been a factor too for that pass

Pretty sure McInness was on record a coming over to play in the forwards

He can still play in the forwards, he just has to play 15-20 minutes at hooker so Brailey doesn't have to play 80. I still get nightmares about Cook against Brailey.

Think he'll be named at 13 this week, and hopefully we aee him back to his best as result
Yeah I reckon he's best as a slug it out for most of the game type of player.

His errors have been trying to play fast pace, high intensity footy for short periods.

Hopefully if he gets into the grind he'll be good value.

Against a big roosters pack I would have started Williams of Kaufusi at 13 this week.

Will McInnes ball play at all this weekend? The role requires it to some extent.

This requires a change of tactic from “coach” Fitz

Let’s see if fitz is adaptable

Let’s see indeed. I think the nut is going to have a huge game. I’d hate to see his minutes limited by his rookie status.
