What are Xerri's biggest faults/weaknesses in his game
Same as all young outside backs - defensive positioning. He is better than most but still has his moments. It’s something he has to learn - which is fine. Val was a massive liability in defence in his first year but Flano was happy to live with a few mistakes while he kid was learning.

Probably the best case scenario for Xerri would be to have Morris play wing outside him. I know Morris is not a regular winger, but he is regarded as a very good defensive centre. I think it would be a good move playing those two on an edge together to teach Xerri more about positioning and communication.

Could he be ready to play in the Sharks 1st grade team next year if he gets called upon?
Yes. He is physically ready and is better now than plenty of blokes who have played fg for us in the past. An off season training with men should bring him even closer. I don’t think we need to rush him but I think he will debut at some stage in 2019.

Is he team oriented or "me" focused?
Can’t really answer that one. All I know is that he says the right things in interviews and he is just as good at setting up his winger as he is at going himself.

I've only seen the I've interview but he was humble yet confident. Seemed a good kid.

Also to add, he trained with the first grade squad in some capacity last off season. Not sure if it was full time but he was in alot of the pre season photos.

What’s he like compared to the best in his age bracket? Is he up there, or head and shoulders above

He trained with the fg squad last season too - but considering he was in grade 11 at the time it can’t have been full time.

Against kids his own age? Who knows? He was dominating the 20’s comp at 17.

Lumelume is 2 years older and a rep player in his age bracket. Xerri is way better than Lumelume.

Can't be mate they both got doors. Can't be inside both. I'm beginning to wonder if you know anything about not just Bronson but the entire sport!?
The doors swing different ways though. Nice isosceles triangle in the gap. Plenty of room for sauce.

Thx for the great feedback. He is clearly a player to watch closely in the future.
