Yes, this past season but not so much the 2022 seasonReally? Can't remember anyone having a dig at Nikora this year. I reckon the forum has been pretty unanimous on him this past season.

Deserved it in 2022, but excelled in 2023Yes, this past season but not so much the 2022 season
I disagree and so did Fitz. But that's ok, that's what forums are for.Deserved it in 2022, but excelled in 2023

Of course, but we are not measuring that here. Just pointing out the very different styles. Nikora does a lot of noticeable stuff, but Teig does more stuff overall. Both players are providing a lot of value to the team. The gap between them is far less than what the average fan thinks it is.Also Nikora does a lot of valuable lines in attacking 20 which benefit others too.
Not that Teig never runs any lines but Nikora is one of the NRL best at it
Sounds like a good partnership, one does the hard work no one wants, the other does the pretty stuff. Both are very important to be successful, keen to see these 2 go up another gear next seasonOf course, but we are not measuring that here. Just pointing out the very different styles. Wilton was looking pretty darn good running off Moylan earlier on. Interesting to see if the back goes his way with the new halves pairingAlso Nikora does a lot of valuable lines in attacking 20 which benefit others too.

His manager won’t just rollover for us.Start looking to extend this guy now before his value goes up to 900k+
His manager won’t just rollover for us.
He will know his worth and advise his client accordingly
Olakau'atu is reportedly on about 900k. I think Brit is worth a bit less than him. 750/800k should get it done, and I think we should be able to afford that.I think we can and will keep Nikora on a fair deal
Can’t imagine Fitz letting one of the best edge players walk and Nikora has every reason to want to stay I’d think
While everyone recognises his quality I think he’s not quite enough of an X factor anyone would try blow us out of the water with an huge offer
Oh, let’s get Olakau'atuOlakau'atu is reportedly on about 900k. I think Brit is worth a bit less than him. 750/800k should get it done, and I think we should be able to afford that.
That was a pretty long deal though, he may well have cost more on say a three year deal.Olakau'atu is reportedly on about 900k. I think Brit is worth a bit less than him. 750/800k should get it done, and I think we should be able to afford that.
Fair point. That was a pretty long deal though, he may well have cost more on say a three year deal.
