Off context end of 2025, obviously able to talk to clubs come November 1st.

Is anyone besides me thinking we should extend him for another 2 years on top of his current contract. Racially considering the likes of D Fifita, Ulo’kouatu etc are now asking for 1 mil a season. Feel Nikora is currently in the top 5 back rowers in the comp now, if we could extend him for around 700k-750k a year I feel we’ve got a bloody good deal there.
November first is a long way away. I have no idea we'll get something done that pays him his worth. Another year like thus one and I won't be surprised if that's 800k+

If he starts the season on fire his price will rise a great deal. I only see Nikora getting better, I’d be looking to try extend him by 2 extra years now before clubs like the Merge/Dogs can throw stupid money at him.

His manager would be stupid to extend him now

For all the **** Fitz cops in here, there’s no denying he got this guy playing above the level most would of expected this year.

Who’s gonna be 2024s big improver?

Yep. No issue with Teig’s game for mine. There were maybe 2-3 poor defensive plays he’d like back, but you can live with that across a season. Would like to see him hold those hospitals passes more often at the attacking end, but was possibly the player least likely to drop one in his own half - so I’ll take the good with the bad there.

He was playing well before Fitz. Snowman was just picking on him and it made people think he was playing worse than he was.
His defence was average and his ball handling skills close to the line were terrible. Had some good moments and some bad ones each game. Nothing wrong with criticising a player when they make the mistakes each week.

Wilton’s a funny one.. bloke could be the next Luke Lewis or the next deadset most average second rower

Don’t see his talent being anywhere near what Lewis had. He was a superstar.

Think Wilton could be a solid nrl player for years to come but one of those ones who never plays rep footy. Always close but never really goes to that level.

Hope I’m wrong but Imo that’s how I see him currently.

Even if that’s the case at the right price that’s fine. Not every club running out 17 superstars.
Obviously nice to have everyone a current or future rep player, but Sorensen goes alright for the Panthers.

I still remember Fitz saying in after game pressers that Nikora was one of our best while the majority on here were saying he was one of our worst
