Statistically, no you're right. But TPJ bashed Cows out the game and his team marched on because of that. TPJ's performances had more influence than Arrow's.

Arrow made 2 line breaks, one of them would have been close to 40 metres for sure (was around half way he made the break and got tackled some further ways down towards our goal line)

still you would take a clean line break over a tough 10m hitup any day both as a player and the benefits it does for your team.
it's not that a line break for a forward tarnishes the rest of his efforts, you are making hard runs/hit ups to bust the line back, make ground and wear down defenders afterall so if you make a run and it opens up all the better

I would prefer results and outcomes over raw effort and stats

I don't think a big run of a break detracts from his efforts in any way... opposite in fact
