I had my doubts about him defensively before the season started but he’s done really well in all aspects in his first two games, looks like we have jagged a great Lewy replacement.

I thought he looked a bit slight and would have to build into it a bit but he's basically same size as Graham and started with a bang

**** me this club has been blessed with some second rowers over the years. just when opposition teams feel some reprieve with the retirement of Mr Professional Luke Lewis and the sidelining of Wade Graham this young kid Nikora steps up to the plate to replace Lewy and absolutely kills it

ofcourse he has looked good and been a talent in the lower grades but what he is doing in first grade and so immediately since debuting has far exceeded my expectations. his defense and line running have been really impressive. he has some genuine pace as well.
who was the last forward to get ROTY?

yes bort almost identical weight and height but a different build to graham looking slimmer and more athletic while graham is more built front on in the upper chest and gives us power. I like that contrast in build and play style, both are quality in their own right.

jai arrow was the best forward of the round

And there I was on Friday thinking TPJ was gunna be the talk of the forwards when the weekend was over.

Poll was not unfairly lopsided as Arrow definitely had the better game, but a bit of stretch maybe to compare a current Origin forward with a handful of seasons under his belt to a legit second gamer as the better 'Next Generation Player'.
I think after a few years and cracking Origin you are probably a current generation player.

Is t a performance poll? It says “who is your favourite”. Wouldn’t be many outside of our club that have even heard of Briton before.

I interpreted as performance because it's listed some stats but it's not very clear.

As a popularity contest it's pretty lopsided also...
50 game NRL player who plays SOO and isn't even that much of a **** **** as far as QLDers go vs 2nd gamer nobody has heard of that plays for the current least popular club
