Lock?

Until they are sitting down for steak I dunno, but Tigers will likely pay him overs, throw in the mushroom sauce and side of veg for nothing

Brit goes in spits and spurts. First year he was ok. Second year he was shocking. Last year, he picked up again. This year he has gone missing especially in attack. Too inconsistent for my liking. Madge ain't gonna like that

I feel like he had far more disappointing games than good games last year, whether that was an outright bad game or just a nothing game.

Yeah. Fair comment mate. Had some good games last year but 2020 was super bad.

I think he is the most consistent player in the team.

at being disappointing?

not sure if this is sacarsm or a one of those bizarre contrary for sake of it burgess takes

most weeks nikora gives us little in attack, sure maybe he does the decoys and little things that go unnoticed but so do alot of our players who still contribute with the ball. his defense can be bodgy too.

Let me ask, would you honestly pick him over Wilton?

I reckon Katoa is the most consistent in our team at being decent or better over the past few seasons. But Dale and Brailz have laid down the challenge in the first 2 rnds playing at a high standard 2 weeks in a row.

In reply to sharkgaz was it last season Morris dropped him for a week or 2? I recall he returned having a few stongish games but then went back into his shell. 2021 was not a particularly good season for Nikora. His debut season was his only good season IMO

Yeah agree.

He had one good season. He is now a “tame”, soft, average version.

If his average form continues surely he gets relegated by jack Williams, Wade Graham or Wilton…..who will fire up to be in the jersey

Nikora is at his best when he's in kamikaze mode. Pretty hard to be consistently kamikaze, just ask those WW1 pilots.

When he's in self-preservation cruise mode he's below par IMO.

If he could work out when to switch the kamikaze on and off he might be ok.

Could be one of those players that shines in a top 2 immaculately drilled team such as the Roosters but hopeless in a team like the one apparently trying to sign him: Tigers.

Kinda agree. If true he needs more gears. ****all or flat out are too far apart. But I think we've said for a while he needs to build more into his game than the good outside in line.

BHU had a decent run for a little bit too, he has it in him to be consistently good

Consistently bad mate. I think he has been awful since day dot. Hasn’t really been any better or worse. Is a constant threat to create a try from 30 out - for either team.

If you want to talk about who has been “consistently good” over the last 2-3 seasons, you won’t like most of my picks. I agree on Katoa though. He is a weapon coming out of his own end.

To get some perspective on Nikora's value .
We let Sorensen and Capewell go with them both perhaps being on less money .
Are we getting better value from Nikora , I personally don't think so .
Also if it ever came down to a choice between him and Wilton
Wilton wins hands down .
Just my 2 cents
